    modification to the cache

The cache would be perfect for my laptop needs but why not make it to take advantage of the annex clips in the bags. All it would need is two little strips of webbing material sewn on. Then the cache would be held in place inside the bag the same way a brain cell is.

This addition would still allow the cache to be x-rayed for TSA purposes and would be as convenient as the brain cell for in and out of the main bag.

    Just an idea?

There's no elegant way to add webbing loops to the Cache. Additionally, the hard corrugated plastic shell of the Brain Cell protects your laptop from the Annex clip - the Cache doesn't have a corrugated plastic shell (it's simply padding) and pressing your laptop against the Annex clip might not be a good thing for your laptop.
