    Co-Pilot ETA?

    Any idea when there will be another production run of the Co-Pilot? As it's still in stock (black/solar only), there's no way to sign up for notifications.

    Also, will it be available in aubergine? Pretty please?

    I'm not desperate for one by any means, but I have some small items* on my wishlist that I'd like to order before the year is out!

    * Small compared to a Co-Pilot, but big enough to attract custom duty and thus be cost-ineffective by themselves
    Collections:
    Work EDC: SE + S19
    Leisure: SCBs, FJN, Swift, lots of YSSs
    Travel: WF + Pilot or SA, with SE/SCB
    General organisation: More pouches, stuff sacks and cubes than you can shake a keystrap at!
    Favourite TB colours: aubergine, forest (sniff!), linen, wasabi, UV
    Hoping for: A new dyneema colour for YSSs; a Linen Side Effect; the return of Portable Culture!

    @scribe, pardon my question about Pilot, which this topic is about its smaller brother - Co-Pilot.

    I saw your signature that you also own a Pilot. May I ask what was the color?

    I'll join the club: a Co-Pilot in Aubergine... well whenever you are ready to build a batch of them, I am ready to give one a good home. No rush, whenever there is time...

    @ weirdguy: Scribe has it in her signature: Her Pilot is listed after Forest, so that is what her Pilot looks like. She has a very good picture of her Forest-Colection in the Pilot-Threat.

    Yeah, I saw that but couldn't understand the complexity of her signature. Lol. I didnt mean to offend you, scribe.

    Thanks llkyway.

    Forest/Steel - scroll down this thread and you'll see my forest/cork/linen collection:

    ETA: no worries - my TB collection is so big now, I can't list everything in detail!

    @ weirdguy: as for the colors: the Forest is best represented in scribes picture.

    Thanks llkyway,

    I initially thought that scribe's Pilot is lined with Steel.
    Hence, I ask about her Pilot here.

    The reason I ask (be it Pilot or Co-Pilot) is I share a concern that Steel Lining wouldn't really help to find things easier inside the bag.
    As you may know, Steel Dyneema became darker (more like dark grey) when brightness came down.

    I didn't have a problem finding anything inside @ceepee's steel/steel Pilot (which I borrowed before I got mine), but then being shortsighted I'm accustomed to finding stuff by touch rather than sight

    With the pilots (both): there is no lining at the bottom and at one side of the main compartment. So for seeing things easy, it just does not matter what lining you get because more than half of the main compartment will be in the color of the exterior. My recommendation: put a very small flashlight or the Guiardian Light (that is what I use) on an O-Ring and have it there for thous moments, when something is hiding in your bag.

    @scribe, that's a great point too.
    Once one used to a bag, he or she most likely to pull out something without sight - unless his or her hand felt differently.

    @llkyway, oh. That's a very good insight.
    Thanks for the tips as well.

    I am looking for a black dyneema copilot as well. Sometimes the pilot is too big.

    Me too. I just love the cuteness of it. I know that the pilot is probably more useful, but when I saw it in person, it was a briefcase. I have plenty of briefcases. Not so many cute little bags. Is that wrong?

    Never say never, as I decided maybe it was just too crisp for me in ballistic out of the box all small and toaster like, and maybe it is another whole deal in dyneema. Isn't everything different and cool in dyneema? So now I feel compelled to check it out.
