    Parental Unit in stroller basket

I have loved all the threads about uses of the PU *other* than as a diaper bag, but since I'm still in the diaper bag days, I thought it might be useful to see how it fits in the basket of a tiny stroller. This is the Uppababy G-Lite. I know a lot of parents hang their bags from the stroller handles, but the G-Lite is a bit too flimsy to support a diaper bag of any weight if the child is not in there. I know from experience.

I am so in love with this bag, if it ever came out in Aubergine/Steel I will be forced to buy another. I think it will be a perfect travel bag.

The last two pictures are of the current load out for a toddler and preschooler. I'm only using the center and one of the side pockets. The other side is completely empty! I do think even if the bag were packed much fuller it would still fit in the basket, even with a child in the stroller. I tend to pack pretty light, and I keep a spare shop bag with me at all times, so any overflow generally goes in there and gets hung from the stroller handles (it's usually light stuff like blankets or jackets). I carry my own SCB at all times, so no parent stuff needs to go into this bag.
