Tri Star leans forward while standing

    Hello all,

I recently purchased a Tom Bihn Tri Star, and I'm super happy with my purchase overall, except for one issue: as shown in these photographs, the bag tends to lean forward while standing and sometimes even tips forward and falls down. I was wondering if you might have any suggestions on how to avoid this problem?

Some more details. I use this bag in two ways: (1) as a travel bag and (2) as a day bag. In (1) I fill up all three compartments of the bag and I never experience any problems and the bag stands up straight. However, in (2) I only fill the middle compartment and put a few small items in the front compartment, leaving the back completely empty. This is the situation in which I experience the above mentioned problem.

Thank you very much in advance for any advise / suggestions you can offer.

Without trying to sound snarky, it's called gravity.

The Tri-star is a soft sided bag without a rigid frame. If you put more/heavier items in the front, it's going to tip towards the front. This is proven since it doesn't happen when you have items in the back compartment.

The only suggestion I can offer to to put some items in the back and the bag will be balanced.
