Vapur Element Anti-Bottle in a Synapse 25 - Perfect Fit!

I ran into another Tom Bihn fan on the plane this week. I was showing him some of my tricks, and he felt that I should be posting to the Forum's, so here we go:

I have a Vapur Element Anti-Bottle. It is so perfect for the Synapse 25.

Whether full or empty, it fits so perfect in the long middle outside pocket of the Synapse 25. It's like it was made to go in there.

When it's not full, it is absolutely flat and weighs nothing. You can also roll it up in it's "storage mode", and it fits perfectly in my Freudian Slip. This is the water bottle Tohm Bihn would have invented if he wasn't in the luggage business

I love my Vapur. It's an EDC, in my Imago, Synapse, or Aeronaut; traveling or around home.

I also love my Vapur water bottles!

My issue? In my S19 my 1 liter Vapur will stick out an inch or two if full of water, which really isn't bad at all (assuming no rain, etc.). The half size fits great like OP says.

I had never heard of a Vapur bottle until I read Ms. Ferret's excellent post on using a Side Effect during a flight. https://forums.tombihn.com/photos-vi...ocket-bag.html

Since then I have bought several. I use them of course for travel but also at theme parks, zoo, just about everywhere, plus dedicated ones for go bags too. They are so very handy and I love being able to fold them up when empty. At first I worried that they might leak, but fortunately they have been leak free.

I had one 1 liter break on me once, but the 500ml ones have been great. That was before I discovered Tom Bihn, so the water got on everything.

I had a 1L Vapur bottle for a while, and it was very convenient, but I was able to duplicate the leaking problem demonstrated in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dzTk7lHqtc

I have a 0.7L Vapur Eclipse. I don't use it all the time, but when I need it, it's super handy! Flat when empty and it's easy to drink water out of. I never roll it up or fold it when empty though. I just store it flat in my pack. Seems like an issue with repeated folding is that it can weaken the bladder.

It's a good option but I need my ice water! I use a 20oz kleen kanteen and it fits beautifully not only within an S25 but a Pilot.

Could I ask what size you use in the s25...(1L or .7L)?
    Maybe I missed it.
I saw that the 1L is a bit too tall in the s19.
    I love that idea.
    Thanks

I bought both sizes and the one liter fits in the s25 and the smaller one in the s19
