    Absolute shoulder strap

I bought a road buddy duffel and absolute shoulder strap in January...I haven't used it that much, maybe 3 times a week for the past month, but I've noticed the shoulder strap has had these stretchy pieces of material coming out of it. I can pull them out, but I'm not sure what they are, and whether this is normal? Or if it's something that could get worse down the line? Obviously it's the material from inside the strap, but not sure what to do about them?

By the way, love the absolute shoulder strap! I don't know how I went this long without one.
