Please is the simple strap comfortable with the PCSB or is the Absolute strap better?

The absolute strap would really be overkill for a bag that small!
It is designed for something Western Flyer-sized or larger.

Please is the simple strap comfortable with the PCSB or is the Absolute strap better?

@London Eye, Some people find the simple strap comfortable to use with the Packing Cube Shpulder Bag. I like to use a 1" strap with the PCSB (or more so, with the Side Effect) if I'm not carrying much weight, or I might use the Op Tech Mini S.O.S. strap (instead of an Absolute Strap) if I were carrying heavy items in the PCSB.

As @bchaplin states, the Absolute Strap is overkill for the PCSB. The Op Tech Mini S.O.S. strap is a smaller camera strap version that is made by the same folks who make the custom designed Absolute Strap for Tom Bihn:

(From the Hacking the FJN for Levenger Circa, etc. (https://forums.tombihn.com/questions-about-bags/11104-hacking-fjn-levenger-circa-etc.html) thread picture that show a comparison in the size of the mini S.O.S. strap with the Absolute Strap.

I also use an old 1" wide strap from my Breve (a retired iPad bag) that they used to sell separately. It's more frequently used with my Side Effect. Others use 1" straps from Waterfield Designs or other bags, or @Lani has found these elsewhere. See the Side Effect and the 1-inch shoulder strap... (https://forums.tombihn.com/general-bag-discussion/10065-side-effect-1-inch-shoulder-strap.html). This also came up recently in the Side Effect Shoulder Strap - does it work with PCSB? (https://forums.tombihn.com/questions-about-bags/11234-side-effect-shoulder-strap-does-work-pcsb.html) thread, but I have to say that I think the 5/8" wide Side Effect strap is way too narrow to use with the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag.

I agree that the 5/8th wide strap is too small for the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. Of course it is sturdy enough. However, it digs into my shoulder. I usually carry my bag cross-body. It is very uncomfortable even when I only carry a small notebook and my I-phone 6+ (in its Otterbox case).

I use the simple strap, but find it to be too bulky in this case. It does the job, yes. Yet it still seems too big.

A one inch strap seems to hit the sweet spot. elisa

I use the 5/8" strap and it's fine. I have the bag packed full, but with light items.

Another vote for the Op-Tech mini S.O.S strap with the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. I normally use mine with my Side Effect but will put it on a PCSB sometimes. Otherwise, I use either the Simple Shoulder Strap or the Standard Shoulder strap, both available on the Shoulder Straps (https://www.tombihn.com/collections/accessories/products/shoulder-straps?variant=16753671623) page.

And now I'm off to read that bit about hacking a different shoulder strap onto the FJN, as moriond has given me some dangerous ideas. . . . :p

The Simple Strap is perfect for the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag, in my opinion. The 5/8" strap is way too think and would dig into my shoulders. Even a 1" strap would look out of proportion to me.
