In this thread, post a list or pictures of What You Carry in your Brain Bag (http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/700/TB0104). We will add your packing list to the Brain Bag page to help give other people a better idea of what the bag can hold.

I just got back from the ALA (American Library Association) convention in San Diego. We drove, so all I really had to do was lug the Brain Bag to the car and back but...

I managed to put 14 trade paperbacks, 2 calendars, a Freudian slip, AND a large cafe bag with my usual junk (wallet, sunglasses, etc.). Oh, and I also had a half liter bottle of Arrowhead water in the front mesh.

I never want to carry that much again -- but the Brain Bag held it all without a problem.

Yes, I AM crazy. And I have a lot of reading ahead of me!

3 states ( 1 burning hot weather day and night, one warm during the day, chilly at night, one warm and sunny day, cold night)

5 airports ( 2 flight were not direct) carry on only, second bag is Large Cafe Bag,

One compartment, casual two piece in rolled plastic bag, 2 Packing Cube Shoulder Bag one on top of the other containing various small pieces of clothing.
Other compartment, one Packing Cube Backpack (Aeronaut) holding 6 pairs of pants, 6 tees, one long sleeve shirt in the main pocket and accessories in the lower pocket.
A Cache holding a Netbook.
Small front pocket keeps small travel things, (each side pocket can hold a flat shoe up to size 8)

Due to the fact that my clothes are women size and either cotton or microfiber, it makes for a 30 pound bag.

However, the same number of khakis and long sleeve cotton shirts both medium size fit in one of the compartment without problem and weighs much less. Go figure!
