The small tristar is:
12.8 x 7.4 x 2.3"

I assume it is 12.8 length 7.4 width 2.3 depth

....<----Length --------->
.../----------------------/
../...^........................./|
./....| width............... /.|
/.....v...................... /..|
|--------------------/...|
|.^.......................|....|
|.depth..................|.../
|.v........................|../
|-------------------|/

I have a large duffel I will use on our next vacation. This will be checked luggage for the plane.

I'm looking into using the packing cubes to organize clothing.

For instance, when we are in our hotel rooms, it would be practical to have my socks, etc in a cube that can be removed and put in a drawer rather than the individual items.

Even though the packing cubes are made for the different TB bags, I can't see any reason why they would not be useful in existing luggage.

I'm not that clear on the dimesions in the web site, thus the above diagram indicates my understanding of the published dimensions.

Please let me know if my understanding is wrong.

Thanks.

hi BPritchard,

you can certainly use the tom bihn packing cubes in your existing luggage.

i like your approach of organizing different items into dedicated cube(s) (if i understood correctly) and placing the cubes into drawers at your hotel.

i also think that your understanding of the dimensions makes sense.
