View Full Version : Nexus 7 tablet options

I received a Nexus 7 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nexus_7) tablet the other day. I realized that I already had a plethora of TB bags to carry it in. I don't have a Kindle Fire case (http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/ACC/TB1214), so these will have to do.

First it fits readily in a medium cayenne ultrasuede organizer pouch,

as well as a medium padded organizer pouch (http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/ACC/TB0318).

It also rides vertically with room to spare in a Breve

As always TB is always there to keep gadgets safe from harm on the go in style.

Edit: Redundant title is redundant

Very nice. I also recently received my Nexus 7. I wanted to see if the Nook Pouch (http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/ACC/TB1212) would fit the bill... they do perfectly! Mine just arrived this morning.

Do y'all like the Nexus 7? Seems to have gotten good reviews but I have not seen one in person yet.

I'm loving mine. It doesn't weigh anything, it's fast, it's small. I have an iPad too, but when I'm out running around I'm grabbing for the Nexus first.

I really am enjoying mine.
My Nexus 7 is light and feels very sturdy for a tablet that is predominately plastic. The Back is rubber-like but feels like dimpled leather sort of.
The new OS Jelly Bean (4.1) is noticeably smoother than Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) is on Tegra 3 hardware. I also have a Transformer Prime and I can't wait for it to be updated to Jelly bean.

I completely missed that TB makes a nook pouch. If only the cork one is padded like the Cork Breve was...

I know this is an old thread, but it helped me make some decisions...

For what it's worth, the 2nd generation (2013) Nexus 7 with a Trident Aegis case fits perfectly in the larger NOOK pouch.
