These are amazing photos! Really beautiful. At the same time you posted them, I was updating our main page and needed a new customer photo to feature: see here (http://www.tombihn.com).

Yup, it's Olive. I'm a big fan! It's my bag, but I've just convinced hubby to start using it as his everyday work bag. Which means that I might be in the market for something new to try soon. ;-)

Great photos.

I'm interested in your equipment. What are your camera and tripod? Do you use one of those ultra-lightweight carbon fiber units?

I'm using a CanonD60 with a Slik Sprint Pro, an older version of this one: SLIK CORPORATION - The most copied line of tripods today (http://www.slik.co.jp/slik_com/DS-SPRINT_PRO_II.html)

I know there are trade offs in buying a cheap tripod, but this one has served me well, and is super small for travel.

So I'm planning on going to Paris on a tour that does a lot of walking. I was going to get the Ego with the I-O bag for my Nikon D5100, I am very much an amateur still. Any thoughts? Is the I-O really enough to walk around with? Thanks for your post and advice.

That's a good question, and I'm not sure if I can help much, as I don't own an Ego for comparison.

It really depends on what you need to carry in addition to the camera gear. I carried my Medium Cafe bag with umbrella, water bottle, and other small daily essentials. The I-O bag with Absolute Strap was big enough for my camera, several lenses, maps, wallet, and phone. I wore the Cafe Bag on my left hip, cross body, and the I-O bag towards my back, also cross body.

I don't know if the stuff from my Cafe bag would fit into the Ego, in addition to a I-O. That would be neat and tidy to have it all in one, not to big, but big enough, bag. Makes me want to order an Ego to try it out. :-)
