View Full Version : Soft Lunch Boxes?

Okay, please don't laugh, but it would be great to see some small thermal lunch boxes (lined soft stuff) in colors to match TomBihn bags.

Ones with small, slip-out "bluegel packs" (freezer packs) would be especially welcome for those of us who brown-bag it all the time for health/economic reasons, and may not be able to easily put our stuff in the fridge....something big enough to hold a sandwich and piece of fruit or two would be very nice. Something that's flatter rather than wider, so it doesn't hog space in an office bag....things can be arranged side by side rather than on top of each other. Kid's soft lunch boxes are too bulky; I'm thinking of a grown-up version that holds a sandiwch, fruit, and maybe a baggie full of trail mix and an energy bar.

Other idea: Something that comes with or can accomodate standard Tupperware or Rubbermaid lunchwares? Zip-shut would be great.

Of course, it needs a slip-in window for personalization! :)

Just my 2c.

We used to sell some really cutsie lunch sacs in our store, but I haven't yet thought of an grown-up version.
Have you seen a product made by Outdooor Research called a "Padded Cell"? Maybe it would fill the bill.
