    Shoulder strap pocket for phone?

Does anyone know if TB sells shoulder strap pockets or something similar that can be attached externally to a Synapse? (see photos for example).

It would be great to store my phone somewhere that is accessible so I don't have to take the backpack off to get it. I don't usually have pockets.

I know a number of hiking backpack companies that sell them but thought I'd check here first.

Omg, I would love a TB pouch that attaches to the back pack strap, it would especially useful in airports and hiking.

I use a Small Organizer Pouch for my phone, it can be clipped to everything.

One might need a Medium Organizer Pouch for phablets or bigger phones.

Tom Bihn also makes Padded Pouches that can be used in the same manner.

I use a small GWOP, fits my phone perfectly and clips to anything.

A strap pouch would be great! ideally one with a main pocket with soft lining that can fit a big phone with a case and an outside smaller pocket to store headphones would be awesome!

I currently use this Timbuk2 Shagg Bag pouch as a strap pouch but it moves around too much.

I hesitate to dangle my phone from a pouch with a plastic clip, thats why a backpack strap pocket would be preferable.

Chrome Industries makes the best one I have found to date.

I’ve been holding out hope that Tom BIHN will put out something like this. I have several by other brands that work well enough. My personal favorite is the Timbuk2 one which is lined with micro fleece. I also like ILE and Reload bags phone pouches for their waterproofness.
I’d love to see how a Tom BIHN designed strap pocket would look.
They’re handy because they make your phone so readily accessible and because they’re located close enough to your head that you can hear the phone ringing even when the volume is a low.

I use a Lowepro ProTactic Phone Pouch. It has both vertical and horizontal velcro straps so that it can attach to a shoulder strap or a belt. It's quite versatile and doesn't have to be used on a Lowepro camera bag. I have used mine on the S19 and a Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home shoulder bag.

Thanks for posting @spicynoodles! Yeah, I've got a Mission Workshop Rambler with an arkiv phone pouch that fits on the strap rail:

but the pouch only works with arkiv rails - it's my favorite setup because it's velcro so easy to get in/out on a hike
