moriond explains the origin of the Hyperbole and a Half "Buy All The Bags" meme here and here. (Nominated by GoStanford)

When dasher asked about the difference between 1000d Cordura and 1050d ballistic nylon, Tom (Bihn) answered.

And then Parapack joined our fabric line-up and tpnl provided a wealth of information on the pros and cons of Parapack vs 1050d ballistic vs Cordura.

Can anyone please explain what is up with the Larabars? moriond has the answer: "Post#54 of the Double Organizer Pouch thread references the old post#56. Laerabars figured prominently in early reviews of the (original) Buzz, Brain Bag, and Super Ego by forum member @Zephyrnoid at the Imagometrics web site." Whoa!

maverick demonstrates some of the many carrying possibilities of the Synapse 19 in three videos:

dorayme shares a series of photos that prove that short people can wear big bags. (Nominated by NWHikerGal, Ilkyway, and tpnl)

Badger gives a rundown of the then-new Aeronaut 30 here. Check here for itsablur's comparative video review of the Aeronaut 45 and 30, and look here to see what Holly packed in her Aeronaut 30 for a two-week trip to Europe. Badger nominated by Pokilani; itsablur and Holly nominated by Badger

eWalker shows a variety of ways of using End Pocket Packing Cubes in the Aeronaut 45 in this post; be sure to check out the ones that follow, as well. Nominated by bradnd99

kkintea loves her Night Flight Travel Duffle as her one carry-on bag. See what accessories fit in it here, here, and here, and what doesn't here. (Also take a peek at ceepee's use of three Night Flight packing cubes here to see how she packs for a multi-day trip, and here, and read how it all worked out on her blog. Nominated by moriond

taminca is famous for her detailed posts, great pictures, and many ideas for using her TOM BIHN bags. Check out her review of the Smart Alec, the Parental Unit, the Double Organizer Pouch, and the Q-Kit. Nominated by NWHikerGal, moriond, and jagmuse

Ever wonder what bags fit into other bags? Read the "Going Marsupial" thread to find out. Nominated by moriond

jujigatame's detailed post about tying paracord pulls on his Brain Bag led many to follow suit. Nominated by Ilkyway

Check out this thread, which shows that TOM BIHN bags are works of art. Nominated by Ilkyway

Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

Since the old Lunchbots Uno (?) lunchbox has been discontinued, here is a discussion of some other lunchboxes that folks have used with their S19:

The links to moriond explaining "Buy ALL the bags" aren't working anymore, so here are the URLs:

I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian... and now also Seapine/UV!

I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

Darcy Most of the forum links lead to invalid URLs now. 😲 (Is there a way we can still read them?)
          — Follower of TB bags since the early 2010s.
          — Finally got a Techonaut 30 and 45 (Black 525d/Island 200d) in 2022.
          — Waiting for a Synik 22 in Black 400d + one of the blue inners in 200d. Praying the Synik 30 Guide’s Edition in Deep Blue/Coyote returns.

Not Darcy... But basically, when the software for the Forums was upgraded, the links were broken... So we manually edit some as we find them but there doesn't seem to be an automated solution right now.

The web crawlers from the various search engines (ie, Google and such) have indexed a lot, so if you are in a post that has a broken link, try doing a Google search with key words from the post and you'll usually be able to find the original post pretty quickly
I like all the blues and greys...and all the happy citrus colours too! My search unicorn is the Sapphire Dyneema original Small Shop Bag...

That’s a good workaround, thank you for the tip 🙂
