    Buzz for non laptop use?

    Hello All,

I have always been a backpack type of guy. However, I am considering purchasing a sling type bag. I am looking for one that is smaller that I can use around town to carry my camera, phone, jackets for the kids (3yrd old and 2yrs old) and other odds and ends. I like the idea of the buzz for this reason.

Has anyone ever had any comfort or balance issues that they feel are significant when their buzz is not carrying a laptop?

Also, I would like to know opinions on how users would compare the comfort of a sling style bag versus a traditional backpack.

    Thanks,

    Bill

I've never heard anyone describe comfort or balance issues when carrying the Buzz without a laptop. Many people who don't carry laptops use the Buzz.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

      Hi Bill,

I have the Buzz and it's a pleasure to carry whether I have my Macbook Pro inside or not. You should do fine with the Buzz for what you're describing. My only question would be how thick the jackets are for the 2 and 3 year olds - I take it you're not referring to thick winter coats that have a lot of bulk, in which case you should be fine.

        Darcy and maverick,

Thank you for the responses. Maverick, you are correct, the coats would just be light jackets. It would most likely be used for random stuff around town. Everyone once and awhile, I may press it into service for a hike.

My biggest concern was that the Buzz wouldn't be the best choice if I used the bag other than for it's "intended" purpose. It seems as if that should not be a problem.

        Thanks again,

        Bill

          Hi Bill,

If you're not carrying a laptop, you can think of the padded sleeve that is inside as a way of having additional padding between your back and the contents of the Buzz :-).

Good luck - let us know what you decide to do and how it works out, and if you have any other questions.
