I'd love a steel front and kiwi interior. (Isn't kiwi a 1000d color?)

My husband will want the Indigo one and we definitely don't want 2 in the same colour!
Anyway, a specific question about size: our lunchboxes are 150 x 195 mm and we need them to sit flat in the backpack (on top of other things if necessary to create a flat base). Will it fit? It should from the outer measurements. I also need to fit in A4 papers (or a large pouch), flat. Will that fit?

The Synapse will be lined with Dyneema/nylon rip-stop (Steel or Solar) so that it is as lightweight as possible. Steel/Solar would be kind-of close to Steel/Kiwi!And Kiwi is actually 1050 denier ballistic nylon.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

The Synapse looks clean and sleek ...cinch straps don't belong, aesthetically. So while I would have appreciated them, I understand why they didn't make the cut.

(Almost) just in time for medical school! I think I might have to be boring and get one in black or steel, so it looks vaguely professional (as much as a backpack can look professional). Or maybe I'll go for Olive. But probably black... We'll see! I can't wait to see the bag in person.Owner of:

given the low probability of me being witness to such an event again, i feel confident that i don't need to worry about my synapse getting hit!-m

Considering that various TOM BIHN bags have (and have had for many years) splash-proof zippers around the top of the bag and we've not heard of problems of rain getting in let alone bird poop, I don't think this is something to be concerned about.
BigMikeD - Have you come in yet for a 2XXLT Brain Cell? They're in-stock!Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)
