Holiday Box questions

Hi TB crew, I was thinking of ordering a Brain Cell for another of my friends who has bought a 13" MacBook (that's three so far! Am I next?) and choosing the gift box option. Have a few questions though.

I'm planning to have the box shipped to me, and then I'll wrap it and hand-deliver to my friend. (Don't want to spoil the surprise, ya know!) 1) Will the invoice/packing list be mailed separately, or will I have to get into the box to dig it out before I wrap and give? 2) Will the price show on the tags, or will you be blacking out the prices on the tags for the gift box orders?

Thought I'd post this in the forum in case others had the same questions.

As of October, there are no prices on any of our hang tags.

Here's what happens when you select to have your order gift boxed:

We print out your gift card comments on card stock with an artwork
template designed by Tom to go with the die-cut airplane logo card that
wraps around the card stock. Then we put the gift card/plane card in a
red envelope and affix it to the gift box.

The gift box is decorated with stickers and sealed with one
sticker. Then the entire gift box is put into a plastic poly mailer
(with no stickers so it isn't too obvious) so that it doesn't get
dinged up or dirtied on its way to you.

If you are having the package sent to you and not directly
to the giftee, we will include your receipt, cookie, and
sticker in the plastic poly mailer but not inside of the gift box.

If you are having the package sent directly to the giftee,
we will send the receipt and sticker to you separately
from the package.

If you don't select gift boxing and your billing and shipping
first and last names are the same, we will
include the receipt in the box with the bag.

If you don't select gift boxing and your billing and
shipping first and last names are different,
we will automatically send the receipt separately,
just in case it is a gift.

Now, if you want us to do something different than
how we would normally -- for example, sending
you the plane card without affixing it to the box
so that you can hand-write your gift message --
we can do that. Make sure to include any special
instructions in the gift box text field on the basket
page or in the comments field during the checkout
process.

Also: we aren't including a cookie inside of the gift
box just in case the box doesn't get opened until
the 25th. We don't want anyone getting a stale
cookie on Christmas!

Have you received an order since we've been putting a cookie in the box of most orders? They are Cougar Mountain cookies -- made in Seattle. We order them once or twice a week in small batches to make sure they're extra fresh since there are no preservatives in the cookies. Right now the flavor is "Ginger Molasses".

And here I thought you'd included Waikiki Beach White Macadamia cookies because of the destination in Honolulu!

Man, you guys are so sweet! I am trying to convince my husband he needs an Empire builder. It hasn't been an easy sale (he's kinda cheap), but if he gets a new job he is getting one. His current bag is just not nice enough for the image he needs to portray. And it is so heavy; the few times I have had to move it I could barely lift it.
