Nope, the keystraps don't seem reproduce like Shop Bags or the "Multiplying OPs (organizer pouches)" in your signature line. On the other hand, it's a sign of things to keep an eye out for, even if you don't plan to go on major treks with the HsJ!

Keen eye, @gochicken. And, since your Sapphire keystrap was 16" long, this one has to be something new, doesn't it?

This is it! The last round of info shared before next Tuesday’s debut of The Hero’s Journey, Pocket Travel Pillow, Sleeping Bag Stuff Sack, and ???? (more on that below).

Because we’re so close to the debut of The Hero’s Journey, we’re going to skip the hints and easter eggs when it comes to today's bag-related reveals, so here they are:

NWHikergal has posted her trip report / review of The Hero's Journey

There's a new interview with Tom about The Hero’s Journey up on blog

New images have been added to The Hero’s Journey page

The weight of The Hero's Journey is ~
    Main Bag: 3 lb 1 oz / 1390 grams
Top Pack (Pocket, Shoulder Bag or Daypack Mode): 1 lb 0 oz / 445 grams

We counted, and it took us a while: the Hero's Journey has over 80 bartacks.

    And last but not least…..

A new video that shares more about our design process

Over the last few weeks, we (the crew here at TB) have added quotes that resonate with us as key code easter eggs to The Hero’s Journey page. For this last round of key code quotes, @MatthewR was given quest of crafting a poem compromised mostly of the key codes that reveal the quotes. Photos of Matthew’s poem are below, and below that are spoilers as to what the key codes are (to use key codes, visit The Hero’s Journey page and type in the word that’s the key code). And there’s a surprise in the photo that requires no code but just a keen eye….

    Spoiler for Quote Key Codes:
    aglow
    beauty
    cosmic
    enjoy
    environment
    melodies
    patience
    torsional
    wild
    born
    step

Thanks to everyone for being here over the last several weeks as we experimented with new ways of revealing information about debuts, evilly hinted, shared our drawings, submitted our poems for your enjoyment, posted photos from our trips, and otherwise put ourselves out there and tried new things. It's been fun!

This started off as one question — then two, three, etc.

What's the one question you most want an answer to? I want to know the weight.

Oh my goodness, It has the best of the Aeronaute and the Guide Pack plus, what looks like a built in carry on.

And it comes in lightweight Alcyon with the classy black closures so it, indeed can be used both for wilderness, urban and more formal travel.

    This is very exiting!

    Official Thread: The Hero's Journey

Well the clues so far in this launch have totally baffled me. I must admit that I might have missed something early but as it's progressed I've been bewildered by it all.

Now seeing the photos of the bag itself is equally bewildering. I don't quite know what to make of it, it looks like elements of everything from Aeronaut to DLBP to PCSB in a Guides Pack orientation.

One of TB bags' strengths are their design simplicity. I do hope the Hero's Journey doesn't stray too far from that characteristic.
