    Given the photos I'm guessing it's the side bags that'll be the add-on, since they attach to the compression straps, and the top bag will be included since it's zipped on... but maybe they'll all be add-ons

    So that means the top bag would be the extra add-on?

    45L configuration: main bag @40L plus two 2.5L side bags = 45L

    add 15L top bag for 60L

    hmmm ... so 40L main body with zip-away 15L top pocket and two detachable 2.5 liter side pockets. IF that's true, then the main body is airline carry on acceptable with the top pocket as your personal item ... assuming it has a briefcase carry option with pack away shoulder straps this is a real winner!

    We'll admit this debut's hints have been especially difficult and, well, basically totally evil.

    Below are spoilers for ALL of the hints-to-date, as well as instructions on how to reveal them. You might not be able to get the spoiler tags to reveal on your mobile device; if you run into issues with that, feel free to PM me and I'll spill the beans plain and simple.

    Next week (09/20) will be the last day of hints and easter eggs before the debut!

    Spoiler for Hovers:

    The Hero’s Journey volume is 2750 - 3650 cu.in / 45 - 60 liters, depending on how you configure it.

    Top Pocket: 360 x 230 x 190; 15 liters (10 liters main, additional 5 in front pouch)

    Side Pocket (each): 10" x 7" x 2.4" / 260 x 170 x 60; 150 cubic in / 2.5 liters

    Spoiler for Images:
    There's photos on The Hero's Journey page that aren't represented in the thumbnail gallery below the main photo. To reveal these hidden photos, click the left and right image scrolling arrows or better yet, use your left and right arrow keys.

    Spoiler for Key Codes Revealed:

    Key Codes AKA Key Presses are words that you type on your keyboard when viewing The Hero's Journey page. In other words, when you're viewing The Hero's Journey page in your web browser and it's up front on your screen, type one of the words below and you'll see a pop-up window appear with secret content. Some of the key codes feature quotes by people that various people here amongst the TB Crew admire; other key codes feature hints and reveals about The Hero's Journey.

    Hints:
    • All of the key press words are nouns with thematic connections to heroes and/or the Hero's Journey;
    • The words may or may not be unusual;
    • All the key press words relate to the hero they reveal;
    • Not every stanza will contain a key press;
    • Lines may contain more than one key press.
    • One of the key press words is totally obvious

    Enjoy!
    -----------

    "One of the key press words is totally obvious"

    I kept on typing "Badger" and nothing happened!

    Seriously, I am so late to this game... but what fun it was catching up!

    At first I was worried about the sleeping bag compartment; I hope it ends up being a good quilt + sleeping pad compartment.

    Thanks Darcy! That aea looks amazing. Must add it to the list!

    I’d like to take a moment to recognize the amazing artistry and teamwork of our crew: Kat (“Cat Eating Chicken Salad” is one of our favorite pieces ever) and MatthewR (amazing Amelia Earhart box art) and the two artists behind this week’s hint box art. Matthew took the photos of the box art and, of course, composed this week’s poem. There to offer guidance and feedback and step in to help with phones and email while Kat and Matthew worked on their art was MikeV.

    It was a true team effort, and I’m very thankful to our talented crew who handled everything so expertly that I was able to be here on Sunday and Monday:
