Well, I didn't get any of the clues but I loved the drawings, and the fact there are clues for those who are a bit more clue-y (!) then me, and Tom's sketchbook post is wonderful.

Keep them coming as it is all part of the fun.

However fear not if you have a short deadline:
below can be found the answers, their use is fine.

    The initial post holds codes whose clues were earlier told;
these are but the newest, just added, here first to behold.

Spoiler for Beware: Key Code Answers Be Here:
    1729
    cannoli
    crash
    earhart
    fez
    franklin
    lamarr
    leibniz
    miyamoto
    papyrus

    tardis

In addition, don't forget to scroll and hover,
as those too may reveal some hints to uncover.

    Edit:
    There's a thing that I forgot about
but maybe you can just sketch it out.

The volumes are discoverable, but I'm still wondering how the dimensions worked out.

I'm just back from a hut-to-hut trip and catching-up on that discussion

I have to say, I'm super happy that Tom has been looking very deeply into creating the perfect travelling-bag. As far as I'm concerned, I try to be a minimalist traveler, but my problem for packing always lays in the fact that wherever I go, I also hike, because this is what I love. So advices from minimalist-packing-list blogs of people who advice to "just take normal shoes and a pair of flats because - well - you are not going to do real hikes right? " do not apply to me.I DO hike. I know what to pack but having the right backpack is always an issue.

So this being said, I'm trying ever since to find the perfect backpack, like the one I would live in if I had to travel let's say - 4 years. I was hoping so much that a Tom Bihn bag would be the answer but so far it has not worked for me, essentially because:
    - for hiking I need a bag which provides good support (padded hip belt and shoulders)
    - I need something breathable.

And this do not work for my S25, which I love and use a lot, but folks, I do not understand people who can use it for hikes (day hikes). The back panel makes you super-sweaty if you are in a hot environment (or even hiking in T-shirt in the Alps), there is no ideal solution to suspend a water bladder, and the hip belt is virtually useless for a significantly loaded pack. After a few attempt I had to give up on my S25 for trips where I'll have to hike, for which I use now a 32 L Deuter bag (a very common brand in Europe). It is sad but well, I had to comprise all the nice side of a TB bag with having a bag which actually works for hiking.

So this being said and to come back into the Heroes'Journey happy mood, this is what I'm hoping for with this new bag:

    - that it is not too big (out of experience the ideal size for hut-to-hut is 40 L); the bag looks huge to me on the pictures, but maybe some of the pockets are detachable?
    - That there is a breathable back panel and not the one used on other TB bags (as on the S25 for example),
    - that the bag is not too heavy! (but with Halcyon I'm not too worried); anything over 2kg would be a no go;
    - That it allows to suspend a bladder,
    - That it is possible to attach a jacket outside with a mesh system (or anything else),
    - quick access pocket for snacks/map,
    - padded where needed,
    - a low profile design for the non-hiking moments of a trip - but with the pictures revealed so far I'm not worried, it looks sweet and nice.

Very excited to see if my expectations will be fulfilled on the 27th of September!

    This is SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Thank you TB and @Badger for the gifts: the hut-to-hut hiking resources, the glorious photos (including in the most recent blog post), and the brain-game poems. I enjoyed @Darcy's as a good warm-up stretch for the sleuthing that @Badger's incited. And gee, I haven't read any John Muir since college, long, long ago; what a wise admonition you quote.

Wow. I am impressed with more close-up look of the Bag. I think my mind is set.

What I am hoping to see more in the coming weeks is the Padded Waist Belt.

Edit: Just stumbled on the Padded Waist Belt's Photo on the latest Blog Post.
