Forgot to mention that the Top Pack in backpack mode seems a good way to carry along picnic lunches.

It's a Planetbox! There are a few styles to choose from. Mine is the Launch Box. I love the Bento style. Plus, it even makes a boring lunch look extra delicious.

Ah! We're fixing this now to make it clearer and in the meantime have removed that drop-down; Side Pockets can be viewed and ordered here on their own page while we work on this.

(The drop-down that was previously on The Hero's Journey page to add a Side Pocket was adding one Side Pocket for $30.)

I've been planning on getting an A45 and a Pilot; $480 doesn't seem bad for a bag that had many of the qualities of both those bags, plus gives a daypack and padded waist belt as part of the design.

That said, I was all set to buy until I saw that Nordic/Wasabi is coming up! Might end up with that one instead!

My order is in! I leave for Japan in about 3 weeks and I can't wait to take the Hero's Journey on it's first adventure!!

I agree that I was a little surprised by the price but not really when you consider all the features and that it's really more than one bag!!

I can't wait!!!
