The Hero's Journey backpack is being unveiled 2 days before my birthday! It takes 2 days for UPS to deliver here. So it should arrive on my birthday!!! (That's if the debut date doesn't change and there are no weekends to delay delivery).

No prizes, but the knowledge that you're in good company (several of us amongst the crew here are September birthday people!)
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Fong, Lisa, and Tom are making sure we don't accidentally show you The Hero's Journey before it's time....

We're working on the next rounds of hints and timeline updates for Tuesday 08/30. And some of the easter eggs/hints are now hidden within the source code.

Easter eggs and hints . I just want to know one thing: will the Hero's Journey fit me at 4'6"? This hero is off on a journey starting Sept 22, and will be off the grid on debut day.

I only found one easter egg but that cute picture of smiley Fong, Lisa and Tom makes for the loveliest hint of all.

It is always wonderful to see the TB Crew, which looks younger with each picture, probably because of Seattle weather and great food!

Thank you for sharing that picture, Darcy!

This will definitely be a buy-and-try. What happens after that…

That is a great question. It 50-60liters is a lot and it looks large, I'm very curious if it will be in a s/m m/l or have an adjustable suspension. The guide pack had neither and the synapse had a long time before the second size came out. luckly I'm 5'8" so most medium packs will work but tossing Easter eggs into the air and typing into blank space leads me to believe this pack is made for serious elevation... and that usually takes a more precise fit.

I am most curious about the waist belt and hoping that it will be a weight bearing hip belt , and if has pockets, even better. Particularly with this potential volume, that seems like a necessity. A way to attach or use a hydration bladder would be helpful too - those features might lure me away from my other brand packs in this category. Fingers crossed...

I really can't wait for this bag. I was looking (again) at the Guide's pack just a day or 2 before this announcement. This could be the perfect bag for our Ireland hiking trip (hut-to-hut style). I was ready to pull the trigger on a (gasp!) non-TB bag, but now maybe I won't have to.

The Hero's Journey page has been updated with new timeline entries, photos, and hints. Just three more Tuesdays before the big debut!

And here's a little story for people who like hint:
Once upon a time, there was a dog who asked for advice and got a horoscope instead. We wonder if Campbell would be obsessed with o-rings and zippers like we are.

Can anyone find the dog hiding in The Hero's Journey page? Hint, hint.
