I hear you. I also hoping that it could somehow accommodate my TB 13" Cache. I don't feel like carrying another bag and I would prefer to use my Laptop during travel than a Tablet. It is just Perhaps, this is a right time to go for Surface Pro or even XPS or XPS alike Dimension. Sorry, that's totally different topic. But I could try other slimmer neoprene case for my slimmer 12" E7240. Perhaps, could fit. Perhaps.

I think I read somewhere that the Top Pocket alone can be carried in multiple way. Can it be carry horizontally with a handle like a Briefcase?

The Spoiler revealed the Top Pocket's Dimension in MM. It seems like it has somewhat similar dimension as Daylight Briefcase but shorter and deeper. Am I correct? Plus, the Top Pocket's corner is more rounded. I think that is one of the reason a 13" Cache couldn't fit in well.

Also, could A4 Paper and/or Folder easily fit in the Top Pocket?

The New Keystrap, I am loving it. I am looking forward for the Red, Blue, Green and Grey. Well, I am also wishing for a Yellow.

The new red keystraps are a very deep, saturated red. They look really good against other background colors. Lovely accents against neutrals like Grey, Steel, and Black. Just my opinion here.

One thing to add about they new webbing keystraps: they're really nice. They're so pleasant to handle, and the colors are a good match with the current lineup of 200D Halcyon bag interiors.

When I first heard that there wouldn't be any more Halcyon keystraps, I was like "O NOOOOOOO"—but, seeing and using the new ones has made me relax a lot about the change; in fact, I like the new webbing keystraps more than the Halcyon ones.

When we found our new source for color-matched webbing, we liked the webbing so much better than the current Halcyon straps that we decided to only offer the webbing from now on. Plus, to make 400d Halcyon Key Straps, we'd have to get a very large quantity of that fabric specially cut/split for that purpose, and it's needed to make other bags. Onward we go.

Knitting, spinning, and reading are about all I can manage at the moment!
Yes, I used an inkle loom. Some are inkle woven which is a warp faced plain weave like the new TB straps, only mine are more colorful with patterns. I've also woven some using tablet weaving, although I had the warp on my inkle loom I used tablets to make the patterns.
