Yarn Stuff Sack and Lux question

I'm just learning to knit and not ready to buy the Swift. I'm using my lux for knitting until I know for sure that knitting isn't just a passing interest.

Will the stuff sack attach anywhere in the lux?

    Hi mrae,

I think that may depend on when you got your Lux. I bought my Lux as soon as it came out, and my bag has only one D-ring to the right above the zippered pocket. I believe that the later Lux bags have D-rings at the sides of the bag, just below the point where the two different colors of Ballistic Nylon cross. That's the natural place to attach the Stuff Sack, which then sits on the bottom of the bag, while tethered at one side to the side of the Swift. Go to the Indigo Dragonfly review pictures and scroll about 40% down the page. The Stuff Sack (pulled out of the bag) tethered to the D-ring is shown in one picture and the next picture shows white "x" marks for the position of the D-rings in the Swift. Two of them are near the top of the bag where the clear zipped pockets are. The other two are at the low points at the side of the Swift.

    Hope this helps.

My lux has 2 rings. One at the very top attached to the inner seam and above the zippered pocket. The other is in the zippered pocket. It looks like it won't attach right. I might get one anyway and leave it loose. I can always use it if I end up with Swift.

Ask Darcy whether she could send you a lanyard to help tether it. I don't think the keystrap extenders are long enough, but that's another possiblity.

Where do you find the lanyards? I looked in the accessories and don't see them. I'm talking myself into buying the swift. It has so many features I could use it for things other than knitting.

It's a good think I'm so short or I'd own every product Tom makes.

Lanyards are coming soon but aren't available quite yet.

In the meantime, we could send you a few "o-rings" with your Key Straps, if you decide to purchase some. You could use the "o-rings" as little connectors to connect multiple Key Straps, creating a chain of them.

But maybe it's easier to wait for the lanyard!
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Just wanted to say that I gave in and bought myself a Swift. It's a great bag and I decided to reward myself for learning to knit. Since I'm new to knitting, I'm not using it up to it's knitting bag potential yet. But I will.

I'd still like a lanyard though.
