    Zipper pulls

I just read about the new zipper pulls in your e-newsletter.
Awesome! Just last month I was lamenting to my wife about the lack of zipper pulls on the otherwise awesome Aeronaut. I was experimenting with various knots, trying to make my own. I even thought about buying some from Red Oxx (they have the really cool monkey's fist ones).

So I'll most likely be ordering some soon. The question is: do i just add them to the zippers, or remove the metal pulls? I see advantages to both ways.

I use zipper pulls on all my bags and outerwear just by
adding them to the zippers only, as opposed to replacing
the metal pulls with zipper pulls.

I have a few of these and I find them great. Now I look to put them on all zippers.

How large are the pulls? It's hard to tell from the pics and description. The only dimension is 2.2" in length.

As far as advantages, I see that replacing the metal pulls would make my Aeronaut much quieter, but the jangling really doesn't bother me. On the flip side, leaving the metal pulls makes the pull that much longer and easier to grab.

I put a picture in this thread where you can perhaps have a better idea about size.
