Available in Canada? Trager? and a suggestion

Hi,

I'm looking for a new laptop messenger bag and Tom Bihn's product keeps popping up. I'll admit I'm hesitant to spend so much, but I'm also not willing to have my new bag fail.

So first question, can I buy and/or see these bags anywhere in Ontario, Canada?

Next, is Trager rebranding Bihn or are they different products? What are the main differences?

One last thing is a suggestion from a person who likes to have as much information about an item before buying - especially buying physically site-unseen. Your site could used a few more photos about the organiation of the bags interior, closeups on the stiching, and some info about the shoulder strap clasps. These come to mind as they are the weakness of most bags in my experience.

The information on this forum is excellent and after reading the candid remarks and resposes it is the thing that stopped me in my insternet tracks to inbestigate further.

Ok after reading about your bags perhaps the Empire Builder is more suited to my needs. I like the look of the messenger bag, but I just have been looking for monster zippers, quality clasps that I can see on the EB. The pics of the messenger do not show these things.

The two Tom Bihn brick and mortar stores are located in Port Angeles and Seattle, Washington. We do not have any distributors or other stores that sell our products. We do ship worldwide, and rates to Canada are pretty reasonable for USPS Global Express Mail, around $15-$25.00, depending on the weight and size of the product.

Trager is a seperate company that manufactures their products in Seattle, Washington. We simply sell their products.

The main difference between Trager bags and Tom Bihn bags is design and styling. We also offer more laptop case and bag options. Otherwise, the workmanship and quality of Trager's products is excellent, as good as ours, and the main reason why we sell their products.

I agree with you that we need more and better pictures! That's one of our top priorities for this summer.
