I have both the Synapses--the 25 in Olive and Ultraviolet and the s19 in Black Halcyon and Ultraviolet. I can't believe how much I love the Black Halcyon, so much so I want to get another s25! Another bag would kill my desire to be a minimalist but I love the black so much. I can't decide what to do!

What about letting go of the Olive S25, is that an option? I'm not saying it should be an option, I understand if you love that color too--but it seems to me that if you can let go of that one you could get a Black Halcyon S25 and still keep your minimalist status.I have a bunch of great bags. Favorite color combos include Aubergine/Island, Navy/Solar, Forest/UV, Original Halcyon/Wasabi, Cloud/Viridian... and now also Seapine/UV!
I've fulfilled my dream of palindromic-colored nested bags! Navy/Ultraviolet Pilot with Aubergine/Island Side Effect inside: blue purple purple blue. Forest/UV A45 with Aubergine/Wasabi Co-Pilot inside: green purple purple green.

Unfortunately, the BAS (Bag Acquisition Syndrome) is rather endemic in this community. The problem is not only that a cure is not known up to now but also, that it is pretty contagious. The good news is that there are some longterm survivors who seem to get along quite well aside from having some minor trouble such as finding more storage space for their bags or feeling a little overstrained in deciding which bag to take....spread joy in your neighbourhood (and not Corona!)
