Cooler insert for Brain Bag

Hi all, curious what others use to keep things cold with their TB bags. Im currently using an Ice Mule cooler bag in the large compartment in my brain bag but the fit isnt always optimal when filled with ice.

Maybe an idea for Tom for a future offering?

I don't have a Brain Bag, but perhaps some others will share what cooler bags they use in BBs.

After I queried on that thread, I did purchase the two sizes of SOS coolers. They aren't leak proof at the seams though. They're good for the beach in any bag really.
For daily lunch carry, I just put a flat freezer pack on the bottom of a Zest Travel Tray and put my lunch in there.

I use this exact setup interchangably with all my bags:

A cheap insulated insert from Amazon (remove and toss the strap)--there are definitely more expensive options, but I think it's hard to tell the difference...though if TB made one that's made in America and high-quality, I'd consider getting it for sure because I don't know if such a product exists:

The secret is the sealed reusable ice packs which avoid any leak issues. Yes, you might get some condensation, but nothing too significant.

I am the one who recommended that lightweight cooler in the other thread, and I still use and recommend it. It isn’t leakproof, but that is easily solved by putting the contents in a ziplock to create a waterproof liner. I love it because it is lightweight and smushable with excellent insulation qualities. My daughter has used it on trips, with ice packs, to keep baby bottles cold.
