Hi wonderful TB folks.
I've been using my Synik 30 as my daily work bag for some time now, transporting a 13" MBP to and fro.
I exclusively use the outside zipper to access the laptop compartment, and I have noticed that the middle sections of the long edges of my MBP are getting dinged/burnished due to contact with the metal zipper slider. It's visible
I tend to put my laptop in horizontally, and then rotate it to vertical. I tend to reach in and take my laptop out at an angle. At a point during both of these operations, my laptop and the slider caress.
It's a bummer, even if not a really big deal, and I wanted to bring this up as an area where some redesign might be considered. I recognize that I'm not taking perfect care when loading and unloading, but that shouldn't be necessary, I don't think.
I tried to take a photo of the burnishing, but it was difficult to get it to come out properly.
