I am grateful for my "therapy" kitty that I adopted from a great animal rescue organization in Seattle, PAWS, many years ago. She has been a great source of comfort to me, particularly with seeing people less often over the past few months. I am so thankful for the opportunity to have so many rescue pets as part of my life over the years, each with a distinct personality, and I appreciate the many volunteers who dedicate their time and love to helping animals.

I've been reading the Dresden Files lately. It's been a lot of fun! I have book 9 on hold at the library as we speak. The series starts a little slow imo, but I've been officially hooked by the cast of characters!

A recent book that I really enjoyed was Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky.

I appreciate my friends, colleagues, and family. All of which have made these times a bit more bearable.

              Also coffee.

I've appreciated a really really good cup of coffee, with a piece of good cheese, good tasty bread and salted butter!

And of course my family and friends which I catch up using technology now.

After 10 days of oppressive hazardous smoke, I've so appreciated being able to open the windows and breathe fresh air, and spend a day working in my neglected garden.
I'm also very appreciative of the TB mask patterns, the V1 is my go-to pattern for my household, will try out the other patterns when I make more. Having an official V4 would be lovely.

I really appreciate the Tim Janis videos on Youtube that consist of peaceful instrumental music accompanied by gorgeous scenery. Also really appreciated the rain we had Thursday night and Friday that cleared out our extremely hazardous air quality (had been over 500). I was wearing two Tom Bihn masks when I had to go outside to change the hummingbird feeders or to water the potted plants.

Like so many others here, my silly joyful dog. Lucinda Williams lately, singin "Bad News Blues" has also helped. And I look forward to trying new face mask patterns in the long quest for one that will not fog up eyeglasses...
