I would love a medium Ghost Whale Organizer pouch. The small is too long and narrow, and the A-5 is too big. Something around 7x5 would be just right... something about the size of your other small organizer pouches or a little larger would be the Goldilocks size.

Darcy, may I make a suggestion for the Synik product pages? I think it would be helpful to add the sizing recommendations from the Synapse pages to the Synik pages. I think it will help to resolve the "which Synik to buy" question that many people have.

The sizing recommendations on the Synapse pages I'm talking about:

The Synapse 19 is designed to fit people from approximately 5'0" to 6'0" / 1.52 to 1.83m; it's the smaller version of our Synpase 25 (for those 5'6" / 1.68 m or taller or who want a bigger bag — check it out).

The Synapse 25 is designed to fit people from approximately 5'6" to 6'6" / 1.68 to 1.98 m; it is the new big brother to the original Synapse 19 (for those under 5'6" / 1.68 m or who want a smaller bag — check it out).

Darcy and everyone, this is my first post.
I've also been wondering about this - will a fabric 3D organizer be produced again?

I have a 3D clear, which is great for TSA, and a small HLT, which is great for cords and such that need to be tethered down, and Organizer Pouches, which are great for flattish things. I'll probably get an Everyday Cubelet soon, but it's larger, and the Cubelet is in a different dimension/proportion family.

What current offering fills the niche of the 3D Organizer?
Could the 3D Organizer be produced again?

The Small Snake Charmer and the Grab Bag are bigger than the 3DOCs but super useful (at least to me)...the closest is the Everyday Cubelet, but as you note, it's a different orientation.

The all fabric and mesh 3DOCs fill a very useful niche, hence our gentle nagging

RogerD. A number of TB users use the Small Snake Charmer as a couple of 3DOCs (with mesh outer sides) stacked together— if you don’t use/fill the the second side of the Small Snake Charmer, it collapses down to about the size of a 3D Mesh Organizer Cube. The Grab Bag is similar to a Small Snake Charmer without the dividing wall between the two sides, but in all fabric. It’s slightly longer, and again, you can under fill that single Grab Bag chamber. If you are interested in the Grab Bag (and collapsing the sides down if not fully filled), I would get one of the new Cerylon fabric varieties, because a lot of the models being made with different miscellaneous fabric samples from their vaults are likely to have stiff sides. There’s a current model Grab Bag that looks as though it has 200d Original Halcyon sides that might also be a good choice for something that is all fabric and collapsible if not entirely filled, too, and their stock Navy Parapack Grab Bag might also work.

For pictures of the Small Snake Charmer and 3DOC, see my post in the 10-05-2017 Daylight BC/BP into a stuff sack? thread (This was basically a question about whether the Daylight Backpack and Daylight Briefcase in Halcyon could be packed into a smaller accessory or stuff sack, and I showed that the Halcyon version of the DLBC could be packed into a 3DCOC, and the combination of both DLBC and DLBP could be packed into the two sides of a Small Snake Charmer — the mesh sides can bulge out a bit!)

This was one of my pictures comparing the Grab Bag to the Small Snake Charmer
Grab Bag and Small Snake Charmer
That’s a a Cordura Grab Bag on the left and an empty Small Snake Charmer in 200d Monarch Halcyon on the right. The SSC is empty so it isn’t as deep in the picture.

Here’s that Grab Bag turned inside out:
    Grab Bag Interior
You can see it is single chamber with a reinforced bottom. This material (Cordura) is not as easily collapsed as the Cerylon models of the grab bag.

Darcy any idea if/when the 3D all fabric and/or mesh organizer cubes will be back in rotation...? Way way way back when, you mentioned that they weren't forever retired, just pretty far off in potential production...

A clear quarter packing cube, but both sides are all fabric instead of clear, and each side is a different color.

Man, I thought I was doing good just knowing the colors of my bags....but now I have to go back and revisit materials, too? Oof.

Thanks for the info, y'all. Makes sense. Seems like my best bet would be a Black 400 Halcyon Side Effect or maybe a NWS EC...

    Or both, because why not.

Bags this size, I think I really prefer the suppleness of the Halcyon material. Decisions, decisions.

There's never been a 400d halcyon Everyday Cubelet. Darcy -- I'm sure somebody with better forum searching skills than I can find the links -- has said previously that test samples didn't fare too well for the EC's pattern, thicker 400d fabric, and ease of sewing. You may want to inquire with TB directly though as Darcy and the Crew are logging customer requests. You never know with TB what the future will hold.

For Black, TB has done 525 ballistic and 210 ballistic, but not halcyon (thanks for the link

    We can
    Darcy

Darcy to ask that Black halcyon and Night Walk be put on the wish list tracker...they might not want to use the 400d halcyon for this bag, in which case a return of 210 black ballistic might be feasible...

I think this thread has all the current/previous color combos for the EC:

Would love a cubelet with a clear panel, as it's hard to see into them sometimes.

(I know I said before that I don't like how things stick to the plastic but pouches with depth aren't as difficult with it.)
