Darcy Same here, haven't gotten a newsletter since the 10th. And I've signed up like a billion times for the giveaways.

Surrealle I’m sure if you email [email protected] the TB crew would love to try and solve this for you. Good luck!

Thanks to the TB crew for putting those LGD pics online so much earlier than expected!
Reissue of a vintage TOM BIHN design from the 1980's. It's a hip pack/sling bag/shoulder bag. And it's big. Made in Seattle, Washington, U.S.A., with globally-sourced materials and fabric from Korea/Japan/U.S.A.

edited to add: I tried a different way to add a link and now I can’t remove it. It should work whether you click on the above link or on “LGD” below.

Would be nice to have some interior pictures. Are the interiors of the main compartment or front pockets lined?

FYI, nobody else can have the wilderness version until I get mine! But the bright orange is also tempting, in case I ever need to direct traffic!

Hopefully they'll use the same preorder system they've done the last couple times now, so we won't be fighting for limited stock (or at least not nearly as much).

Can't decide if I want the seapine green, the grey, or the blue, myself. If I get the seapine one I'm going to have to do something about that red stripe though, it's very much not to my taste, unfortunately.

The grey is pleasant and neutral, even soothing, while still having nice contrast with the black and coyote. The blue is nice too for a bit more color. I go back and forth on TB bag colors. Some days I think I want to stay discreet and blacked out, and other days I want more color in my life! Wilderness or Blue seem seem like a good compromise.

Yeah, Seapine is my favorite of all the color options for it, but again, that red.. I might end up going with the deep blue or grey just so it's not as conspicuous as a waist pack.

VERY interested in the new-old LGD -- are its dimensions/measurements available yet somewhere?

And here I was *only* going to pre-order a single large shop bag...

I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these and see how big it is in person. I can see from the pics that it is quite large for a waist pack, but I thought that about the Side Kick and the LGD is much bigger if it can hold an iPad Pro 11”. I have concerns about the lack of interior pockets (apart from the open top pocket along the back panel) but with a bag this size I’m sure I’ll want to put in an Everyday Cubelet rather than distributing various small essential items directly into the LGD.

Now that the pics are up, I am loving Deep Blue and Wilderness for giving me those retro vibes like the Guide’s Pack. It’s nice to see such vast colour choices, even for indecisive souls like me

There isn't an exterior back pocket; there is an interior open-top pocket against the back, in the main compartment.
It’s got to be at least as long as the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag, and taller in height, even without the added depth. And look at the view of nik holding the LGD for an impression of depth

ETA: also, did anyone notice that if you save to wishlist, the price no longer comes up as $999, but $130? I’m wondering if that’s the real price?

Would it be possible to take a couple of comparison pictures between the LGD, the Daylight Briefcase, the Side Kick, even the Side Effect and the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag for height reference?

The colors combinations between the outer/piping/lining are breathtaking!

I’m wondering whether a mini u-lock for a bike would fit in the buckle pocket?

I am going to guess it probably would. My mini u-lock is about the size of a Side Kick, which is noticeably smaller than the LGD, height and width wise.

moriond Thank you, yes I did see that estimation from Darcy; it’s just a trick of the brain making me still see it as the size of a Side Kick (or even a Side Effect!) when it’s alone in a pic without a human for scale. It’s similar to how if I sometimes see someone drinking coffee out of a glass tumbler, my brain remembers the smell of flat Coca Cola, even though I know there is coffee in the glass.

So if it’s around 3 SKs in volume, but the height and width of a PCSB, does that mean it is 2 PCSBs deep? 3SKs(3x3L)=2PCSBs(2x4.5L)=9L

boy I can think of a LOT of uses for this ...
                              • Great trail pack of course
                              • Great tourist sling bag/hip pack for going light and keeping the bag in front of you but still having your arms free
                              • Great as the ultimate airplane/train/car travel bag as it can hold all your tech (incl batteries!), books, snacks, full size HPs, etc
                              • Great for international carry-on: keep it in, say, an S30, then put it on for going through customs lines to hold your documents & phone while still wearing your other bags
The ability to stow the waist strap is very cool and I LOVE the side compression straps and back-panel being 525

Overall this is a pretty exciting bag! (especially in camo!)

+1. I'd add Co-pilot and possibly even Icon to the list.
