New Accessory Suggestion: Modular Pocket System

While I was I was looking for an organizer insert for a messenger bag (I found TB and ordered the Horizontal Freudian Slip), I came across this Instructable:

The pockets detach and are reconfigurable via velcro.
It strikes me that this is the sort of thing of which I would very much enjoy having a Tom Bihn version. It could be very useful as well in bags not of TB manufacture, and thus draw more into the TB fold. I like the idea of being able to quick change bags. Just pull the organizer base and drop it in the new bag. The customizability is a fantastic idea. I can have as many or as few pockets as I want and in the shapes, styles, and placements which I want. Oh, I can see this being a font of constant accessory purchases. Its bag-org nirvana! Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?
Bags: Latest: Pop Tote and Shop Bag (large) ; also have a Co-Pilot, Super Ego (w/cork seatbelt); Aeronaut; Medium Cafe Bag; Large Cafe Bag; Brain Cell; Shop Bag small, (Steel); Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. Accessories: Oh yeah, bunches.
Sadly Lost to Hazmat: An Imago in Steel/Cork & MCB in Linen/Olive.
