Anticipation was fortunately a manageable issue since I live reasonably close to Seattle. Got an email Tuesday evening that the ID was back in stock for a limited time. Ordered on Wednesday & it arrived today. Black-Navy-Crimson. With an Absolute Strap. Veeeeeerrrrryyy happy when that box plunked down on the doorstep.

Having a crimson lining on the inside of bags is just gorgeous, and something I miss in the current bags (along with there being no red Ballistic Nylon for bag exteriors). So happy that they managed to find enough crimson and sapphire 500d Cordura to make the bags they were retiring with these colors. Enjoy your ID bag and that happy burst of crimson when you open that bag!

Last night I ordered a Coyote A45, Black PU, and Black Dyneema SE along with a handful of straps and organizer pouches and such. Ship notification just came through!

moriond, thank you for mentioning about the Crimson lining. I think I'll have to start a new thread as it has made a difference with my ID bag I'd not thought of before.

My birthday is only a week away, so I decided to gift myself a Side Effect, small Q-Kit, couple OPs, and some key straps! If everything arrives as planned (fingers crossed) I'll get to spend some time rearranging my EDC setup on my day off (my other gift to myself).

            Let the countdown commence!

Broke down and ordered again today, this time a BO FJN! I just knew I'd regret letting not having it once they are gone.

@jennygoat, I rarely use the return process (I think I've returned items only two or three times in 11 years), but if you have difficulty deciding between products you order, use the link in the How do I return bags? FAQ to generate a UPS return shipping label for U.S. customers. You will only be charged $10 (deducted from your return credit) however many items you are returning, and you don't have to worry about weighing your parcel or Pre-paying for the return shipping via UPS. As I said, I'm not the best person to describe this process, as I've only tried this once under the current system when I sent back a bag I was able to get in another color within the 60-day return period. I was surprised at how well this process worked -- usually U.S. users in Hawaii or Alaska, or anywhere not in the continental US have different postal rate schemes. You may have to add comments to identify returned products from orders with different confirmation numbers. If you have questions, start a separate thread for this topic, and I'm sure people who have made extensive use of this system (err… @taminca?) can weigh in with comments. I think this arrangement with UPS only works in the U.S., though, and it has only been in place for about a year. See the Kudos on TB's New Return Process thread that @taminca started.

HTH and enjoy your new Burnt Orange FJN when it arrives, along with you other TB goodies.

                  TB Anticipation Syndrome

Earlier today I realized that I had paid my car off (thought I had a few months left). Did I do the responsible thing and transfer that money to savings? Nope -- I ordered a burnt orange/UV Swift, 2 Spiffs (wasabi and ultraviolet, both standard size), a black/steel SCB, and a couple of Dyneema organizer pouches.

It's going to be a long week!!!

When the Swift gets here, I will do this just for you @Ilkyway :-) (It actually is an American model of a German car, so seems appropriate).

                              And thanks!

It's now what I would consider "late March" so I'm anxiously awaiting my backordered DLBC to ship. . . . .
                                Rambling On. . . . .
