My BO FJN shipped! It doesn't seem like the order I placed yesterday went with it, though.

Backordered for April items are starting to ship! I got a call to clarify something on my Ego order. Yay!

I checked on when I ordered my FJN and it appears it was around the last week in March. Although I did make one change to the order, it was within a few days of placing the original order. I haven't received a notice yet.

I wish they would have had the FJN available in Plum or Aubergine, as I had to settle for grey with some cord accents I will put on in ultraviolet.

This has, so far, not been a good week for shipping notices. I sent back some ear buds for replacement and they didn't get scanned correctly and the company is holding my new ones hostage until they receive notice the others are on their way. Maybe today will be the day that I get some good news.

I'm happy for the others who've waited and will be receiving theirs soon though!

My order arrived! It's beautiful (although a few pouches have dull-to-me colors - i.e. gray and brown). But, there are a lot of pouches and most are in gorgeous colors, including kiwi and solar and azalea! Pics later.

My anticipation has turned to gratitude!

Background: I had an aubergine Swift plus a few other accessories stolen last weekend. I was using the bag a computer bag. I was distraught over losing some work that wasn't backed up (most of it was). Nearly as traumatizing was the loss of the bag itself! <okay, not quite> including a solar small pouch :-\, my favorite dyneema color. Replacing *everything* has been my "hobby" since then.

My new Swift and accessories arrived today with a sweet extra mini from TB & Co.. Thank you, folks! This company is amazing.

I just hope the new owner of my old Swift appreciates what a quality bag they have.

I'm impressed at your generosity of spirit - so sorry to hear about the laptop and bag theft. I hope the new TB items bring you some joy and that it isn't too much of a pain to sort out the work file stuff.

Losing plum AND solar = REALLY BAD DAY. Good thing - some solar pouches/stuff sacks still exist at TB. I'm late to the game (less than a month) and have a few things.

Yeah, seriously. My reaction would have been "burn in hell, asshole" and then some. I'm relieved to hear that your files were backed up and the TB stuff replaced.

Very sorry all that happened to you.

Someone at knitting told me that page protectors are made in 5.5 x 8.5 format. So on her printed patterns, say from online, she folds them in half and can see both sides. Easy for a swift AND easy for the FJ I hope. So besides graph paper for designing, one could keep a pattern organized in it. Or, a piece of artwork one doesn't want smudged. I just bought a pack at Office Max. For those outside the US - I don't know if OM is outside the US - it's an office supply store.

I have 8.5 x 5.5" page protector pockets which unfold to 8.5x11". They will fit the FJN. I put my pattern in and I can view one full side of the page complete and the other side in two halves to allow for the holes. They are made by Avery of transparent coloured or clear vinyl and come 3 to a pack.

I've not heard of a kind that unfolds to a full size. Of course I know about regular 8.5x11, but didn't know about 5.5x8.5.
