TB Anticipation Syndrome

My UPS hasn't been updating either. It's just suddenly "out for delivery" but at least it's been on scheduled time.

I'm super bummed. I ordered a small aubergine yeoman duffle along with a mini travel tray and small snake charmer. I paid for three day shipping to get it here before I traveled next week and the package came today. And what was in it? A mini yeoman. Which is cute but too small, not what I paid for and now I'm out the shipping I splurged on to get I here in time.
Super bummed. I emailed customer service to tell them and see what could be done to get the correct duffle but I won't be here to receive it which is a problem, and i wont have it for the trip.
The mini is cute btw. But very small, and I already have a night flight which is about the same size.

I am sorry. I guess we are all humans and errors do happen, however, it is never fun when you have a plan and something does not work out. I am sure customer service will do what they can, even though it won't help you for your trip next week. The only positive might be that you will have a TB package waiting for you when you return...

I sold most of my TB gear a couple of months ago. Now I've ordered some bags to test: one that I've wanted to try; one that I've dismissed before; and one I hadn't even considered.

I had packages coming Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, but two packages got bumped up, so now it's Monday x2 and Tuesday.

My package was supposed to come today, but I got the dreaded "... a severe weather condition has delayed delivery. Delivery will be rescheduled." message. Probably for the better, I'll be on vacation tomorrow, so I should at least be home when it finally comes. But I knew everyone here would understand!

Wooo, my package made it to my city and should be delivered tomorrow! Black halcyon/island S19 and some other goodies. It's easy to get desensitized to receiving packages with all the online shopping nowadays, but I'm so excited for this TB package! Too bad UPS likes to reach my house at 8PM.

My second box from Tom Bihn arrived yesterday! It contains a Little Swift in Nordic/Monarch Halcyon. I didn't open it, though it was hard. I am instead going to wrap it and place it under the tree for me. Oh, the agony of the wait!!!

I have the Black Halcyon/Island Side Kick. It is a gorgeous combination. You are going to love it! It's become my new EDC and works so smoothly to organize me! I like it so much, I bought a blue Hobonichi Techno planner hoping that it would blend well with the bag!

I ordered the Black Halycyon/Island Side Kick too! And apparently, despite the weather delay, they did attempt delivery. They didn't even leave a notice though. *sigh* UPS, you're not my favourite company these days. But, I am home today, and I'm not going anywhere until they deliver.

Out for delivery today!! Black Halcyon/Island Side Kick! I think it's going to really be a great bag for me. While I often use just a medium DOP on a handle strap or a Side Effect, a slightly bigger bag will surely come in handy as a PLO for those times when I don't want to carry a LS or a Cafe bag. It's nice to have options.

The hardest part of dealing with TBAS (Tom Bihn Anticipation Syndrome) is the time between being prompted (by Tom Bihn via Email) that my order is out for delivery and actually being able to leave work to get home. Has anyone developed any coping mechanisms that seem to work consistently? Or should I just take PTO, go home and sit patiently on my front stoop? My only concern about sitting on the front stoop is that it's about 30degrees. I have good clothing, but if I get sick, I'm not going to be able to make full use of the bags I bought for my commute to work, thus creating more TBAS! Help!
