As a followup to the most crestfallen anticipation ever, UPS just came back from their investigation that they can't deliver (I assume that's their way of saying they lost it) =(. Two YDs (verde mini and small) and forest masks go bye-bye *cries in a corner*

      That's a total bummer

Maybe one day, the package will wander back to you... I have had 'lost' packages show up months later, battered, with unknown stories to tell....

Just placed my first order, and I got the syndrome bad!

Kat in Shipping was exceptionally nice and pleasant to deal with, when I did the math and realized my order might not arrive in time for a trip next week. The next morning I emailed and she set me up with 3-Day Select shipping.

It's for a rare un-cancelled work trip...I was thinking of ordering an A45 back in March for this and other trips and then things went all wacky. We're back on, so now I can re-justify this expense. And extra shipping is still way cheaper than getting hit with an extra checked bag charge.

Congrats on the new bag - hopefully you do some packouts and share with us

I'm so sorry. I do hope they turn up eventually. I ordered something from an outdoor retailer once, it went missing, they refunded me and then it turned up weeks later.

Got my stuff today! Everything looks great. I eagerly installed the waist belt, internal frame, and zipper pulls on my new Aeronaut. Looks great, feels comfortable, though it seems I should have ordered some Strap Keepers. An excuse for another order.

First impression is that the A45 looks...small, believe it or not, but I'm coming from a huge 85L and then a "pared down" 65L bag, so it will take me a bit of adjusting. Will post my packing attempts in the next few days.

That is a common feature! They look small but I”m always amazed by what can fit inside! ENJOY!

All things are relative - the A45 is my *biggest* bag and I hardly ever use it because it's so big

I'm looking forward to your test packs, especially since you're sizing down so much - it will be neat to see how you tetris things in and what you decide to prioritize.

Wilderness Monster Truck, TSS size 3 in Acuity, TSS size 4 in Sitka and various masks out for delivery!! I'm a huge fan of the original shop bag. Looking forward to the bigger Monster Truck in ballistic!
Family, Guitar, Design, Travel....get after it!

I've got an order coming with my Synik pre-order, and every time I pick up the messenger back I've been using, I get more and more eager to get that Synik here to try it out. I'm guessing those pre-orders will ship in the next week to 10 days, right?

I own a LOT of Tom Bihn bags, but here are the ones I'm using right now:

                        Day Hiking: ADX26

                        Plane Travel: CP, WF, SZTSB

I received two bags yesterday in a box. But no "The Going is Good" sticker nor a packing list. Just the bags in the box, nothing else. Did they stop sending stickers? What about a packing list? Not that I don't have enough stickers already, just curious.

We realized that we could save paper and speed up our shipping process by forgoing the printed receipt, given that everyone gets an email confirmation of what they ordered If that prompts any questions/concerns for anyone reading this, always feel free to [email protected]

And... we actually ran out (or are about to run out) of the stickers! We *were* thinking of a new sticker design, but along the lines of reducing paper/waste (part of our environmental goals) we're thinking we could ask one of the talented artists we work with to come up with some original art that would be included as a download link in the order confirmation receipt. You'd be able to download the art and use it as a desktop background or even print it out if you'd like. What do you guys think?

Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

I think this is a great idea; customize your TB experience to suit you. Personally I really don't like paper receipts and only need one sticker (which I already have.)

I like both of those ideas, Darcy! Less paper waste and some new art to see & download
