TB Anticipation Syndrome

I have only recently got and appreciated the Monster Truck, used it for last few weeks in theatre rehearsals, so couldn’t resist a Pickup Truck - especially when available in lovely favourite Aubergine. But inevitably I’ll fall to temptation and add something else to pre-order later...

Went in with a plan - seapine PU truck and two cubelets (Solaris + NW sky) and ended up adding in an extra PU truck. I have a feeling I am going to love the size and was worried about falling in love to have in be retired. Went with Alphaviolet because I prefer the brighter colored halcyons and wanted that kind of feel!

I think the 630d Recycled fabric used for Seapine, Logic Blue, and Nebulous Grey will work beautifully with the Pick-Up Truck. As for Alphaviolet, here's a picture of the Pick-Up truck that I was able to snag when they retired it:

ETA: Those were actually Alphaviolet and Island, and the process of ordering these took over a week, because I was trying to order Aubergine, which had oversold because the inventory was incorrect, and I spent a week in email exchanges to find an alternative colors as they popped in and out of availability before I could get one ordered.

I ordered a Seapine PUT for my aunt and maybe foolishly decided I didn't need a second one for myself. I have one in Dawn and carry it daily to work with my SE and DLBP. I mean, they're supposed to last forever, right? So I don't think I need another one. But I'm doubting myself. I also ordered a Wilderness SE and a Tidal Cubelet, thinking that would be great and perfect. But then I was reading these posts and decided I'd better get a Tidal SE too. Ugh. The SE's are my favorite TB bag.

I think we’re all wanting to actually be tempted... Unfortunately(?) this helpful forum not only tempts, but also provides some helpful supporting rationale or justification to explain to our conscience, partners, bank manager, etc.

Ahhh I just realized the SK won’t ship until mid-May!!! I guess that means my order won’t ship until then. I’ll just be sitting here green with envy in late April.

Actually my confirmation email from this morning says late April but the website now says mid May for the SK. Has there been a post from the TB team on this that I might have missed?

If/when we do sell out of the "Ships by late April" batch of bags, we'll push that estimated ship date out farther and continue to accept orders.

Maybe they were just switching description to Ships Mid May ...... lol it is your fault I just ordered a Deep Blue Pickup Truck. Was not going to order one because I already have Aubergine, Black and Burnt Orange but when you said they were sold out my first thought was I should have ordered the deep blue when I was looking at them earlier today so when it was still available of course I had to order one.

Earlier I pre-ordered my first Side Kick (black halcyon and island) and a Tidal Everyday Cubelet. Actually first I mistakenly pre-ordered an Aubergine SK and the Tidal EC but then made correct pre-order and Cody was nice enough to cancel my first pre-order.

Interesting that if you put these in your wish list, the items are there but they have the annotation now that shipping is in mid-May

Omg even more excited about my Alphaviolet choice now. I was going for the color based on my mini ghost whale pouch in Alphaviolet but it looks even cooler in your picture as a pickup truck. Looks a little more pink in the TB official photos!
