TB Anticipation Syndrome

I'm wait-wait-waiting for the new Ristretto to be available so that I can finally get a MacBook Air. This tells you where my priorities are. (Actually, my best friend says that I can't get a MacBook Air until he can buy the bag for me, so I'm just incredibly anticipatory). I have to decide if I want the black one or the navy one. I always get a color, and then I find myself wishing I'd gone with black so that I can wear it with a dressier outfit. But the colors are so darn appealing!

Waiting is the hardest part. Truly.

Stealth order!

So today I got all Black Ops at work and (after a slightly awkward convo with Katy about how long UPS ground shipping would take) placed what I'm calling the Stealth Order--a bunch of goodies all in Black Ballistic. I'm hoping everything will arrive before spring break starts and the new acquisitions can accompany me on many Secret Missions. I think my first mission will be Operation Become a Better Phone Conversationalist.

I'm waiting for my cadet so I can carry my MCP 13" in style (and pare down what I've currently been stuffing in my Ego with the MBP in a Cache)... I didn't really NEED another bag, but... got it in black with Iberian lining. Too bad there isn't a green dyneema fabric in wasabi or kiwi or ... Yes, I'm silly and try to get things with GREEN (as in my last name) in them when possible. Must stay with the black exterior, though. Happy Monday! more coffee, please!

Looking forward with GREAT anticipation to tomorrow afternoon. My UV Synapse (the replacement for the Black/UV that I returned after the Amazing Katy found the UV hiding somewhere) an Iberian Co-Pilot and Plum/Cayenne MCB should be waiting forme when I get home!

Haha! I was like Badger last Thursday! My boyfriend and I work in the same office so I was stalking out the door waiting for UPS all day. I didn't want the BF to know I had ordered anything. Then I had to hide the box under my desk so he wouldn't notice it if he came in my office. I took everything out of the box and put it in my briefcase to sneak it home. I quickly rearranged purse/ECD items in hopes he wouldn't notice the new Side Effect. So far no comments from him. (which is a good thing)

Mrs B. and I work in the same department, too; however, since she buys weird things all the time (a large part of our shopping excursions in Italy involved Calzedonia, which sells, of all things, tights) I just say, "Want to see what bag I just bought?" Not very stealthy at all. It would be even less stealthy if I had to tell her over the phone . . .
