I've been using the Ballistix AURA PRO-TOUR backpack from http://www.slappa.com.
Excellent for camera equipment.
The insert is very useful at airport security, I pull it out as an additonal scan item. It is a Backpack. The insert holds my camera equipment and other electronic items.
I've been using my Buzz as personal item, but it doesn't hold my Dell netbook and assorted eqiupment without being over stuffed.
I'm currently looking at the ID or EGO to replace the Buzz. Also for space for jackets, etc.
I use the backpack as a carry-on because it fits very well in the overheads.
One thing about this backpack that I should mention. I carried it on our last vacation to the Grand canyon area. I carried it on my back in an area that had fine sand blowing around. I didn't open it! Even when my camera batteries needed replacement. No sand creeped into the backpack.
I 'm assuming the ID or EGO would also keep out fine sand because of the excellent zippers.Been there. Done that. Can't remember.

Oh, FINE...no insert yet....sigh...so much for a new bag for me new camera gear...sniffsniff...Life is just not worth the effort anymore if a person can't get a simple camera bag.
::eeks up to see if it's working ::: hehehehehe....
I just switched from canon gear to the new Pentax K-7 so I have a bunch of new lenses waiting (yeah, I had to buy SOMETHING to cement my resolve to move to a fully weather sealed body over the 40D/50D models for less yet!!) on a new bag and, well, the actual camera to be released.
