    My new Bag

Okay, I just ordered my new bag, I opted for the Seattle Messenger bag, because it was more in my price range and it would fit my laptop. I also bought the Brain Cell size 2 and I can't wait for them to get here. The really sad thing is, I will just spend the next few days checking that tracking website worrying that it got lost...I am a freak I don't know what to say. Anyway, I will post updates on my new bag, and maybe even some pics....who knows?

    Jake

What do you think of the bag so far?

There is a customer over here who wants feedback about the Seattle Messenger.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Thanks for the reply, I have been meaning to update this...which I did over there....I love it. And it's great. But mostly I just love it.

      Thanks,
And keep up the good work.

        New bag on the way!

        Hi-
I've admired your site and your merchandise ever since I heard about the French tag, and for the past number of months I've been trying to decide how to justify making a purchase. Last week it all came together, and I ordered a Smart Alec (Black and crimson). I wanted it to hold my pathetically large work laptop (an elderly Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100), so I also got the Monolith 2. I then determined that the associated cables and stuff would need their own compartment so I sprung for a Snake Charmer in crimson to match the Smart Alec's trim. Oh, and since the laptop's heavy, the Absolute Shoulder Strap looked appealing, so I got one of those, too.

As it happens I'm going out of town on Friday for a vacation, so this will be the first chance to show off my new purchases! Since it's not for business, the Toshiba will stay on my desk where it belongs, and our personal laptop (Dell Inspiron 4100) will come along instead. I'm very excited to see my first Tom Bihn products and take them on the road. Followups coming after their first trip to Florida...

          It's here!

My purchases arrived! I am inordinately happy. The Smart Alec (my wife chortled "Of COURSE you got that one. On the name alone it suits you!") looks great, has all the pockets and compartments I could ask for, and the Monolith fits inside perfectly. Even with the snake charmer at the bottom of the SA, next to the base of the Monolith, there's ample room to spare. THIS is the carry-on bag/laptop sleeve I've been looking for all these years!

The absolute comfort shoulder strap has already been attached to another bag we own. That bag has suffered from a strap that looks perfectly nice but isn't padded worth a damn.

Vacation starts in 36 hours. I can't wait!

Glad you like your Smart Alec!

I love mine. I like how simple it looks.
