Redesign of the Absolute Shoulder Strap? When/where was this mentioned? I'm getting the feeling that I miss a lot of the latest news for some reason -- is this all happening on Twitter these days (I don't use Twitter, but I check the blog and forums regularly)? In any case, when is this likely to debut? It's very exciting.

it's a nice way to keep the cache in place inside of the bags that have annex clips, and shouldn't take away from the form or function of the cache otherwise.I've got a 2XXLT H. Brain Cell (fits my H-P HDX18t like a glove), a Sapphire/Black Brain Bag with a matching Snake Charmer, a 2XL Vertical Soft Cell, a Sapphire wallet, a Size 4 H. Brain Cell for my wife's laptop and... a school boy's crush on Darcy

Wherever the webbing loops get sewn, you'd have compressed foam - and pushing into the compressed foam would be the Annex clips. That wouldn't be a good thing for the laptop.Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)
Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

Cache arrived today
I'm really impressed with the Cache I purchased for my MacBookPro 13" unibody. The fit is perfect, and the attention to detail is as meticulous as all my other Tom Bihn products. The degree of padding seems to be just right. The fabric is smooth, but not slick. It feels nice. The interior fabric is soft and makes me feel comfortable sliding the computer in and out.
I'm going to be carrying the Cache in my Brainbag and found that the computer in the Cache drops into my old Brain Cell perfectly in vertical orientation. Double padding, but that's no problem. Very nice work once again from Tom Bihn and crew. Thanks!
(I can't wait to see how it works in the Synapse.)
