Duty paid for shipping to Canada?

I am just wondering if any other Canadian customers can report on the duty they had to pay when ordering a Tom Bihn bag? I know that I am likely to pay tax, but just wondering if there were any other "surprise" charges you received? BTW, I am thinking of buying an Aeronaut...

Aeronaut: Canadian Duty

I recently purchased an Aeronaut, Absolute Shoulder Strap and 3 packing cubes shipped to Canada. Duty paid COD was $7.51.

I also received a bill from UPS for the amount. After calling UPS they told me that I did pay the bill and that they would be sending me a receipt.

I have an Aeronaut, Brain Bag, ID bag, Cafe Bag, etc. Too many! Duty is hit and miss I find. On most shipments, you get charged. On one shipment... nothing. Guess I was lucky! :-) I'm in Ontario by the way.

Package arrived

So my new Aeronaut has arrived and I have already used it and love it! Just for the other Canadian customers, I ordered an Aeronaut with an Absolute Strap, two large packing cubes and the shoulder bag packing cube. I had to pay $17.71 CAD on delivery. Very happy with the bag so far!
