    Ultrasuede Shoulder Strap Wrap

This is amazing! I had the honor of being able to test this product (see the review I sent to Darcy at http://www.tombihn.com/page/001/PROD/ACC/TB0530

I have to say, It is the best investment in an accessory you can make! It will work on any strap that is 1 1/2 in webbing. How versatile is that?!?!?! Hmmm...endless possibilities? I did try using it in a Walmart plastic bag that was large and heavy and guess what? It worked beautifully and saved my hand! Not sure if it was ever intended for this type of bag but it did solve my problem!

I saw a mention of this in another thread and it was a complete surprise to me - and very welcome! This strap wrap sounds like the perfect solution to having the plastic grippy pad on my small café bag slide all over the place.

Not only does it replace the pokey plastic slidey thing, it is like a little cloud of heaven on your shoulder (especially with summer tank tops!) ! I cut my plastic pokey thing off and only have the Ultrasuede Shoulder Strap Wrap. Oh, yes! I can load some extra take along things into the bag with out it cutting into my shoulder.

I'm waiting for my order to come too. It's on pre-order/back order. I am looking forward to it. It seems really nice. I would like to see a similar item for the handhold at the the top of the bag. A nice thin but soft wrap for the web. Does anyone else want something along that line?

I had not thought about that since I rarely use the handle strap -- mostly for lifting it out of the car or off of a chair. Perhaps Tom would consider a slimmed down version of this fabulous wrap.

I carry the bag on my shoulder, but I also use the handhold. I use it every time I get in or out of a car. It's gotten so I miss the feature on a bag that doesn't have it (hint: a non TB bag). My Medium Cafe Bag is my main bag, my everyday bag. I will carry additional bags, but I always have my Medium Cafe Bag. It's a great bag. I may switch over to the Large Cafe Bag as my main, but the medium is so good. I have all my essential stuff in that. I use my Imago, and Large Cafe as subject specific book bags at present. I just grab the correct one for the day, add that to my Medium Cafe Bag, and I am set.

Another item I would like is some kind of internal and transferable organizer pack for the Cafe Bags. Like a cousin of sorts to the Freudian Slip. Something that will ring the inner walls with pockets, enhance shape, and allow for larger items to still be place in the center of the bag. Also, it could be easily transferred between various colors of bags, making it a snap to change colors. Yes, I spend inordinate amounts of time thinking about my cafe bag it seems. :P

If I had an Empire Builder, Ego/SuperEgo, or a Tristar I would be able to use TB bags for everything at present. I am still using a Manhattan Portage Deluxe Europa (a good bag, not Bihn level, but a good one) because its so huge and expandable. I need a cavernous bag for my Chemistry books. 3 texts, 2 notebooks, and 2 really stuffed binders; way too much for my wonderful Imago. When I add a load of lab regalia, I need to expand the bag via the zippered expansion. Its a wonderful feature. I like the instant volume increase. Now, if I had that on a Tom Bihn bag, with a hurricane level ykk zipper...
