I'm waiting for the larger ones to come out. Is there any possibility there will be a place to hold a water bottle? That's pretty essential for me. That's part of what makes the buzz a perfect bag- except for size.

Only to people who have already posted in this thread, so that includes you! That's it though because we're going to put these pouches on the Web site in the next couple weeks. PM or email me with your address.

We actually made a bunch of little pouches like you're talking about in various sizes and colors that attach to the bags via the key snap. Would you like one?

At this point we plan to make different sizes of the LUX but the first size will not really fit a Size 4 Brain Cell well. I can stuff my Brain Cell into my LUX but the way it stretches the bag it doesn't leave room for anything else. When I put my Powerbook in a Soft Cell (our new padded sleeve that will eventually replace the Mitre) and put it in vertically, it works a lot better but is still not as good a solution as just having a larger sized LUX would be. The first, standard size of the LUX will fit 12"/Size 5 laptops.

If I had one bag that did everything I use different bags for it would include the following in addition to the extra organization.

A bag for a relaxing day at the beach, park etc: room for books, mp3 player, a drink and some snacks, an extra sweater, and other outdoor supplies like sunglasses etc. Maybe my camera.

What I take to work when I'm not carrying my laptop: notebooks, manuals, books, cellphone, pda, mp3 player, my lunch, water, detachable cardholder for credit cards, cash, business cards etc, other misc items. It would be nice to have some small detachable pouch for the cards and also my keys.

There's more but those are my main uses besides a bag for my laptop.

I've been using one for about a month now and it's my most favorite Tom Bihn bag ever! It looks so refined and sleek and it's just big enough for everything I carry but doesn't make me look super tiny like really big tote bags do.

The LUX will have a zipper in the bottom that will accept various inserts - one for a laptop, one that adds more pockets and organizers (like an insert version of the Freudian Slip), an insert that will turn the LUX into a diaper bag, and others to come.

Pictures will come soon, as will the exact dimensions.

What kind of inserts would you like to see?

I don't suppose you could indulge us, Darcy, with any extra info about the Lux bag while we wait? Sneak peak pictures, some description of what a "module" is and which ones might be available, dimensions, features....

Looks pretty cool! I've been looking around for a while for a cool medical bag (to carry stethoscope, blood pressure cuffs, penlight, pocketbooks, etc) and there's not much out there. Maybe this is it!

Soon. Within a couple months. There are just a couple more details to be worked out that will make it even cooler than it already is.

The first edition of the LUX was sent to the American Top 40 Awards as a gift bag to be made available to Jessica Simpson, Usher, and Ryan Seacrest among others. Just typing those names makes me as giddy I am when reading US magazine!!

Yes, looks interesting. Couldn't find this bag in a search of the site. When will it be available?

    Lux bag for sale?

This weekend I got a chance to see the Lux bag in this article:

(Amy from Knitty.com showed it to me at our Stitch'n'Bitch).

    http://www.gearlive.com/index.php/ne...view_05011111/

And I love, love, love it. We were plotting ways to grab it and run.

The article says the bag is for sale, but I don't see it on your site. Is it available?
Working...
