Worth a shot, right guys (and girls)?

I don't know how to set this up, so maybe interested people can just add to this thread.

Wouldn't it be GREAT if the ID came in Black/Indigo/Wasabi!? Wasabi is one of the defining TB colors, IMHO. Cayenne might be interesting too...

Grape is no more, I got the last Black/Grape/Wasabi, which Darcy held out specifically for me. Since my ID got stolen, I now have to replace it (along with everything else). To me, the Steel color looks 'blah', the Wasabi was a lot better at standing out, plus it made finding things in low light a lot easier.

So, how 'bout it, all who are interested in a Black/Indigo/Wasabi color scheme for the ID say 'AYE'! Maybe there will be enough of an interest shown, and it will happen this next year, sort of a 'you build it, they will come'!

Is it me, or does the Indigo look BLUE in the pictures?

    Maybe not...

Wow, 50 views and NO response. Maybe I'll have to rethink this strategy..

Hey dbradford, I like Cayenne more than Wasabi. I have bags with both. I also have a bag with Olive, and that was a surprise to me how well that works. It is in my newest medium cafe bag (I have two now), which is Linen/Olive. This bag is great and I am real happy with it. It is my ECB now and the Ultrasuede Strap Wrap on it is fantastic. I think Linen has not gotten a fair shake, in part because, I believe, the name sends a misleading train of inference to most guys. Sand (the original name of the color) would have better marketing among men. It wasn't until I saw the bag in a forum pic that I knew I wanted it for sure. Very happy buyer here.

As to color combos for the ID, I like Cayenne as I said, but I would be interested in an ID that was Linen on the outside too. That said, my next bag purchase is an Empire Builder or Zephyr, likely in March. I would like to see the Empire Builder in Black/Crimson/Cayenne. But, I suspect that might not take place.
Bags: Latest: Pop Tote and Shop Bag (large) ; also have a Co-Pilot, Super Ego (w/cork seatbelt); Aeronaut; Medium Cafe Bag; Large Cafe Bag; Brain Cell; Shop Bag small, (Steel); Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. Accessories: Oh yeah, bunches.
Sadly Lost to Hazmat: An Imago in Steel/Cork & MCB in Linen/Olive.

        My thoughts..

Ex machina, thanks for the reply! If I have it pegged right, if enough of an interest in a color combo is shown, and reaches the 'Top', and provided TB has access to the colors, maybe they'll do a run. So, maybe there's hope for your wish.

I have (left) the Large Cafe in Navy/Cayenne. I like Navy, and Cayenne does work okay. I wanted something that sort of stood out, but was semi-professional looking and subdued. Also, something that doesn't show dirt easily, thus the darker color

I used a medium cafe bag in navy/cayenne for about a year as my ECB . It's a great bag and I got the strap wrap for it too now. It's in standby at present but I will either use it as a book bag during the coming semester, or as a go bag of some sort. I like that bag, and I like that it is such a contrast to my linen/olive MCB. They both have their points, but for now the linen/olive is my ECB.

Oh I think TB is responsive to consumer wants, and if a market for something is viable, they will act accordingly I believe. Time will tell if cayenne makes a resurgence. I will say, olive is fantastic and I have no complaints there!
