TOM BIHN Bags for the iPad

I'm assuming we will see something from Tom for the iPad.

I see the Ristretto Messenger has already been updated to say it will hold the iPad. The padded compartment specs look close to the iPad, I hope there isn't enough slop that the iPad would move around too much.

What about a Brain Cell or carrying case for the iPad?
The Apple one looks pretty nice... would be nicer with more padding for drop protection like a Brain Cell.
Maybe a Brain Cell where the iPad and Apple case can fit in it?

    Guess this answers my question....

TOM BIHN Bags for the iPad

Today is filled with exciting news for sure...

Within minutes of the Apple Announcement Darcy makes a post....TB has a Cache that will fit on the blog!

And further exciting news....it will fit in the Ristretto for iPad/Netbooks

And if you missed it, catch up on the Apple iPad, www.apple.com/ipad

My favorite netcast for all things Apple is provided by TWiT, MacBreak Weekly

I cannot wait to get one of these. $499. starting price (USD) is a great price point, MOVE over netbooks.

FYI: There's a third product that Tom is working on for the iPad - it's something that can be used with the Ristretto for iPad/Netbooks or the Size iPad Cache, or on its own. We hope to have it available by the time the iPad is released.
Have a question? @Darcy (to make sure I see it)

Current carry: testing new potential materials in the form of Original Large Shop Bags.

Ooh, something good for netbooks too? I am intrigued. My warranty for my netbook is about to run off and I really need to start taking better care of it.

Saw this post up at macnn about new cases and bags for the iPad from Griffin, Belkin, and Tom Bihn. (The only thing that left me a bit wistful was the plum color option for the Belkin sleeve.)

Thank you for posting this link. As I said before in another post - I just don't get the whole iPad concept but am trying to learn.

                    Also Brain Cell

I would also suggest a brain cell for people with messenger bags. I use the 6T size for my NetBook which also includes two separate pouches for the power supply,mouse,320gig Passport drive.

Especially for people that are buying the associated keyboard. The iPad and keyboard should fit inside a brain cell.
Been there. Done that. Can't remember.

Will the iPad fit in size 7 Brain Cell? The reported interior dimensions are very close.
