Is it just me or is constellation blue darker than how it appears on the storefront? I just received a swatch of it with an order and the color is darker than I expected. I was wondering if there was a chance that I got a different color lol. It looks darker than pics I saw of other items on the forum too.

What’s funny is I was going back and forth between that and Wilderness Green for my MCB but I chose the green because I thought Constellation might be too bright - like closer to Logic Blue. Now that I see it, it doesn’t stand out that much.

It’s definitely difficult to gauge colours on a screen. I think Logic Blue isn’t close to Constellation as the former has more green undertone than the photos show. I posted this comparison photo of all the blues I had a while back and Logic Blue didn’t make an appearance as I’d already sold all the items due my dislike for the green undertone. I edited the photo in an attempt to bring out the “true” colours I see in real life as much as possible, which makes all the blues look darker than the product photos show.

My avatar also shows a Constellation Guide’s Edition Synik 22 outdoors and you can view the full size version here. The sunshine makes Constellation look brighter but you may also be able to see the grey undertone that’s pretty much absent in Logic Blue.

I think TB does the blue fabrics so right. They're eye catching without being garish for the lighter shades. I like pastel blues, so it's no surprise that Acuity is my favourite.

To get a better sense of the slightly greenish tones to Logic Blue, I’ll refer you to the pictures posted by different users in the early discussion thread Question on new color Logic Blue Seemy post dated 11-27-2019 then scroll down to see the 12-02-2019 post by gochicken , who posts some of the most color accurate renditions.

I thought that the Constellation would be closer to the French Blue but this pic shows how close it is to Island. (probably not that big a difference in real life in any case)

Constellation has significantly more grey in it. To me, Island is almost childish-looking.

re: Verde 1050 (and 1050 broadly speaking)- it's not gone, and we'll continue making bags in the 1050 colors for the foreseeable future. I hear you all that you want more 1050 options, and we will work on that, but that fabric just doesn't sell as well as our lighter weight options, and we can't make everything, in every fabric, all the time. It's just not realistic. But as we move into travel season, a few additional options probably makes sense!

For the folks who had asked Mike for more 1050, the Verde is showing In Production for the T45 (along with Coyote and Burnt Orange) and there's other 1050 ballistic scattered about In Production on some other items.

Bunch 'O Other Stuff showing In Production too.... however looks like the oNordic Bantam isn't showing at all anymore.

Oh, and the X-Pac is In Production on the S19

Hi Yarpy - are you referring to the 200d Solaris halcyon fabric? I thought that TB had recently received additional shipments of this, you can always check with the fine folks in Customer Service.

The Paragon itself hasn't had a restock in quite a while, I think they made a lot from the initial production runs and then the Paramour, that is very similar, has the additional front pocket.

the larger Side Kick-like bag is getting really close, and I think will fill the Icon space really well. Jose is working on a couple final changes and we're figuring out the product calendar for this one now! You'll probably start to see some messaging on this in the coming weeks, and the bag looks great.

This wasn't that long ago (only about 6 wks), but has anyone else been checking their email and the forums every single day for more information from TB? Like for a release, or at least teaser photos, dimensions, anything??? I'm still making do with carrying an SK inside of a shop bag to allow for more EDC space, but I'm really tired of using a shop bag as a purse. Not that there's anything wrong with it but the bag-in-bag combo isn't ideal for me so I'm kind of over it. I'm REALLY hoping that this bag debuts sooner rather than later.

Really hoping that they will have the same thin, subtle label that is on the Side Effect. The large airplane-only label was just too much on the Bantam; it's one of the reasons I never bought one. Similarly, I was shopping for a Synik 30 and ended up getting one secondhand, although I would have liked to try the new XPac material, due to the label issue. I didn't mind the versions with the skyline/"Portable Culture", the blackout versions, or the "retro" ones, but the new style seems too stark and is not visually appealing to me.

I ordered a Bantam because my SE/EC are both sometimes too big for my needs. Although I did choose the Bantam with the blackout label the size of that label bugs me. One day when life isn't so hectic I plan to take my seam ripper to label.

bchaplin I assume the label will be the new ones in the regular size, if it's going to be around the same size bag as a PCSB or Icon, since both of those have the normal label
