I bought two Grab Bags, one in Boreal and one in Navy Parapack, without a clear idea of what they were going to be used for. I just wanted to get a feel for the fabrics. When they arrived, I thought "hmm" and set them aside for future travel.
Turns out, the Grab Bags are a great size for a mini-gym bag. On the gym floor, I'll have with me my towel, phone, locker keys, wrist wraps and lifting straps. I also need to make sure I don't forget a lock for the locker and hair ties. All of that fits nicely in the Grab Bag, with the lock/keys/hair ties clipped to a carabiner that's attached to an O-ring with a Key Strap. The Grab Bag also fits nicely in my backpack (the Evergoods CPL24, I've got a Synik 30 on the way from yesterday's restock that might compete with the CPL24) next to my shoe bag and the Side Effect, tucked inside my lifting belt.
I wasn't sure I'd love all the handles on the bag. I suppose I thought of it initially as an organizer and having four! handles on it was overkill, but they're absolutely great for what I ended up using it for. When the gym floor is busy and I have to move quickly, I can shove my stuff into the bag and grab and go on to the next gym station. In the bathroom, I can easily hang it on a hook. To make things even more fun, the top handles make it look like a tiny gym duffel.
Bonus: the Grab Bag fits exactly in the treadmill's water bottle slot.
I've ordered a Mountain Grey Cerylon Grab Bag to get a feel for the Cerylon fabric, and might replace the Boreal with one of the two lighter Grab Bags as an experiment to see which of the three fabrics I like best.
