A daylight backpack in Acai would be nice. I really like the color and how it complements Aubergine.

Sign me up for a Small Cafe Bag in Taiga 400/Fjord 200. Like my SCB in Original 400/Wasabi 200 that I've been rocking for 5 years: Business on the outside and party on the inside. (Acai inside could be cool too... but leaning toward Fjord)

Welcome to the Forums rmattr !

Ohhh, Taiga/Fjord or Açai both sound intriguing, I'll have to combine bags that I have and take a look.
Unfortunately, I doubt that we'll ever see a bag though... If you're not caught up on the news, the factory that makes the 400d heavier Halcyon closed and TB is running out the last of the material now.

Fjord 200 halcyon returned to TB for encore production (different factory, longer lead times but factory still open) a while ago but I think it is also almost gone as I haven't seen much 'In Production' lately, though you'd have to contact TB to confirm. Açai just arrived though, so we have more to look forward to with that! I just bought the Original Halcyon/Açai Makers Bag... Not the bag style I use the most, but such a cool combo

Thanks for the lowdown (and the welcome) G42.

Bummer that the supplier of 400d Halcyon is closing. Really glad I ordered that Night Walk SCB yesterday... Halcyon 400d seems super similar to the Robic 400d on my ULA Equipment backpack. Seems like there should be another factory that can step in - though I'm sure TB's process for incorporating new materials is intensive.

I've been wearing man-purses for 30+ years now non-stop, and have established the SCB as my "keeper". Been through MANY different bags, and I've got my TB setup totally dialed. I'm ready to add a couple/few new colors to the mix, and really like the ripstop style fabrics. Hoping that TB keeps the ball rolling with a new supplier.

I wish I could organize the store by what is in production and what is just released. The "Just restocked" section doesn't work anymore. All I really want a quick update on how the inventory is changing across the site.

More Swifts/little Swifts (I really want to purchase one but the current in-stock/upcoming color combinations are a bit tame, and this bag seems to lend itself to a bit of flair). Also, am I the only one wondering why aubergine Swift is paired with a red lining/yarn bag?... color wheels everywhere are shuddering .
                  Hi BeachMom
With specific regard to your interest in Swifts and Little Swifts, I’d suggest that you join Ravelry and become a member of the TOM BIHN Knitting Bags forum on that site. Ravelry itself is devoted to fiber arts (knitting, crocheting, weaving, etc.) The Swift, and other knitting-related accessories was designed in conjunction with Amy Singer of Knitty Magazine
I also carry the predecessor of the Swift – a bag called the LUX, and I bought a Little Swift from the first production batch that remains my favorite Little Swift.

The Tom Bihn Knitting Bags forum at Ravelry.com has its own volunteer moderators. Some of them have different user names (stemming from when Ravelry’s user names permitted longer login names than these forums did.). I’m also a volunteer moderator on Ravelry for our forum.

The guidelines and search functions are slightly different, but I think you’ll enjoy the experience. And many members have multiple Swifts/ Little Swifts or extra purchases from the Knitting goods preorder from earlier this year.

I'd like a Buzz (the original, smaller version) with the addition of a mesh back panel, and the subtraction of the cell phone pocket thing on the strap

I'd love to be able to pick up an Everyday Cubelet in Black Halcyon (though now I'm curious how X-Pac would work as an exterior fabric for that bag as well) -- I don't know if these haven't been made, or if I've just managed to miss them every time they've been offered.

I'd also love to see a Cafe Bag that has the same kind of strap attachment ring (vs. permanently sewn-in straps), because I'm now apparently annoyed by straps that don't swivel/detach/swap out.

Ms. Ferret They’ve never made the Everyday Cubelet in any 400d Halcyon. See G42 ’s List - Everyday / Travel Cubelet for a complete list of all the combinations

                          - A dedicated TB travel backpack. I went into more detail about what kinds of things I'm looking for here (at the bottom of the first page), but in short, something that's optimized for hands-free backpack carry, without the vestigial duffel aspects that the Techonaut has that (IMO) compromise its efficacy, nor the access issues of a roll-top like the Addax. TB doesn't have a shortage of solid "travel bag" options, but it's weird to me they've not taken a clean shot right at the heart of the one-bagging market.
I’m with you here. I’m still looking for that perfect one-bag-travel pack from TB. I read your detail in the other post under the Addax review. The T30 comes close. So does the TriStar. I had high hopes for the Trinity Project, but . . .. Anyway, something in the 33-35L range, true backpack, though it can “look” like either a duffel (Techonaut) or a briefcase (TriStar) as far as I am concerned. I like both. The briefcase form facto attracts less gate agent attention, with the backpack second best there. I don’t need excess pockets or prescriptive organization either. I love my Syniks and Synapses, but they are pickpocket magnets. And I don’t need/want a water bottle pocket either. Make a T35, put a real storage space at the top; doesn’t have to have two pockets like the Aeronaut, but that storage should not be on the bottom when wearing the pack or setting it down. And skip the external side pockets. More internal O-rings.

MikeV May we please have a run of NFTD packing cubes along with the bag? Even if it's a one time pre-order? (even better if we had both solid and mesh versions (give us an inch, we'll take a mile))
                            Please and thank you!

ETA, and I know halcyon may be gone by then, but fingers crossed

I always find it odd that, if we post suggested product improvements over on the actual product pages, we often get a response like this from someone:

Thanks for the feedback! We'll be sure to pass it along, but it's worth noting that we don't take product idea submissions.
As a lawyer, I have some idea of the reason for this response, but I still find it slightly off-putting, especially since we have a forum hosted by TB, that contains hundreds, if not thousands of enthusiastic product suggestions, the discussions of which TB staff actively engage. And this has happened under both old and new ownership. Ah well, enough of that……

I love rhe Clear 3D Organizer Cube. It is the perfect 3-1-1 bag. I also love the HLT 1/2, because of how easy it is to use them in my Syniks. What I would lust for is a blend of the two, with one side clear, or see-through mesh, and the other solid (Halcyon for me), so that it could take advantage of the loop/carabiner feature, possibly even with room for a pocket. You could even make one side clear with a middle divider between it and the other side for max capability. The organizational features of the HLT are amazing. But you can’t see what’s inside. The C3DOC is great for seeing inside, but there’s less lovability for clear plastic, and there are no organizational features.. So, a bag with the necessary visibility to see cables, AirPods, chargers, etc., and the attachment points would be fantastic. Maybe not easy to design, but well worth it. The Snake Charmers are great, but the Visibility is limited, and again, they don’t have the HLT “attachability.” The Clear Organizer Pouches don’t have sufficient volume. What the people need is an HLT with a window! Or maybe just a Mini Snake Charmer with swivel carabiners 😉

Oh, that's a cool idea drunkenspyder ! It would be very neat to have the clear on the outside and the HLT guts on the inside.

Regarding product improvement suggestions overall... I think the note on the product page comments thing may be a short-hand type response & variability due to which human is actually answering at any given time (TB would obviously be the authority to answer this and you can contact them directly).

If you check in the Forum Guidelines below, especially point two, they talk more about what they mean... Features, things that work for you, things that don't (literally like what you just did) are fine. They're trying to avoid the whole "please make a TB version of the XYZ brand bag" or requests to make someone else's design. There are other Forum and Blog posts scattered around about it too, including directly from Tom I believe.
